Not a fun run this morning at all. 7.25 moh @ 8:30 pace. Some twinges in my groin/hip has me a bit nervous. Was suppose to run 10 but did I tell you it was just not a fun run? Don't say that very often.

Going to order new shoes (Brooks green silence). Have never run in them before but hear good things about them. Going to go buy some movie tickets for tonight as well. Then not much else on the agenda today.

Glad you're feeling better each day OM.

Heme, I sure hope your AT doesn't cause you problems tomorrow. I've had achilles tendinitis before though and it's a real bear to get rid of (lots of pool running...).

Cute card, OM. I think I've done a few of those, and didn't know that I could do yoga! :)

Glad you're feeling better every day.

KS, I think your body is knocking at the door. Better listen up. Hope you get your sproink back soon, but don't push it.

Yay for goose-free runs, tomwhite! (yay for the run itself, too!)

Hey Mike. Interesting... I don't think nsaids are good for connective tissue. In fact, I've read that they inhibit the healing process for tendons and ligaments and such. I do know that when I stopped taking ibuprofen, my foot started to finally improve. Go figure. When I had the aforementioned achilles tendinitis, I did lots of icing but the main thing was to stop aggravating it... as in rest and XT in the pool.

We're having a mini-heat wave (Alaska style)! Temps in the low 80's forecast for the next few days, and we hit just over 20 hours of daylight so it feels like full blown summer here! Love it... Went out for a very sweaty 3.5 easy miles at lunch, ending at the gym where I met DH for some weights. Nice way to spend the mid-day break.

Our humidity is so low we've got wildfire warnings all over the place. With the holiday weekend coming up and all the related activities, I'll be really amazed if we don't torch a good bit of acreage. Just don't want another smoky summer!!
