Ugh. No fun, katho. Bella loves the rain - she can smell it and then gets soooo excited to go outside.<br><br>
We had a wonderful weekend outdoors on roosevelt island, central park, and bk here for the cherry blossom festival. AK continurs to be a doll. I think she used up all her fussy cards in the first 6 mos! I took her hikinh yesterday and she loved it. Anyhow, busy day at work ahead. Good days all!

<p>Yesterday was a fairly productive day even though I am on break!  Got some laundry done, grocery shopping, baked a dessert, oh, and also lounged a bit. <span><img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"></span></p>

<p><span>Today is inventory for the spice cabinet.  Exciting, I know.</span></p>

<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">No fun</span> scheduled here, but no un-fun either, so it balances out.  I have to take my 10-year old desktop to the computer store during lunch.  The fan on the motherboard is not working properly and the thing is overheating.  I can technically open both side panels and direct a small desk fan into the unit to get by, but meh.  Hopefully these guys can replace the fan for just a small fee.  I don't want to buy a new computer just yet!</p>

<p>Oh.. <span style="text-decoration:underline;">fun</span> (a little). Planning mom's mother's day card.  Recall that Pippin was originally her dog.  She got him as a puppy and quickly decided she wasn't up for puppy-raising.  Yesterday, I bought some finger paint and will have Pippin and Gypsi "sign" the mother's day card with finger-paint covered paw prints.  /snicker.</p>

<p>Took the kids to the doc's yesterday for checkups.  Both are doing a-ok!!!  Colin is off the charts though, 18lbs 12 oz and 26inches at just over 4 months!!!  Watch out NFL, here he comes   And Aiden is tall and thin, like DH, lucky boy!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Not fun for today so far: Aiden woke up early and was crying "No mommy don't leave" as I tried to get ready and head out to work.  Fabulous.</p>

<p>Ok, need help...my cell is a piece of doody.  I am considering finally making that leap to a smart phone.  But I just don't like the iPhone (to be fair, I don't have tons of experience).  Any advice?  Is the Droid the way to go?  Help me!!</p>

<p><strong>Beaker</strong>, I have a Droid, and while I don't know how to use it, it's working out well.  I absolutely love the ease of internet access.</p>

<p>I'm off in a few minutes for a massage.  Between my sore throwing shoulder, jacked up back and ouchy left ankle, there's plenty for her to work on.  I'm also going to try to get in to see my doctor today about my fun stomach burning pains.  We'll see how that works out.</p>

<p>My students have a paper due tomorrow and I'm starting to get all the panicky e-mails.  I love the end of the semester.</p>

<p>Oh, fun story from the weekend, Aiden got bit on the forehead by a kid at the playground in the Phils ballpark.  I find it totally amazing that the biter was able to get him as bad as he did, last night I was still able to count the teeth marks!!  I mean really, how hard is it to get a good bite going on a forehead, right?!  Doc was amazed last night when she saw it!!</p>
