For the last five weeks I've been taking a wine class based on the history of wine and monks and at an Episcopal Church in Dunwoody. Generally speaking we sampled 5 wines or so and of those I might find one that I kind of liked and dumped the rest. I'm not a really big alchol person. I was interested in the history of monks and wines.

Any way, tonight was the last night and the lecture was on beers and spirits.

So, we sampled 6 different beers (none of them American) and 3 liqueur's - 1 1510 Liqueur; a Chartreuse Green Liqueur; and Grand Marnier.

The beers were very good, the 1510 liqueur and the Grand Marnier were decent too; The chartreuse green liqueur tasted too much like a medicine and had a strong mentholatum taste to me.

We simply sampled probably an ounce of each of the beers and liqueurs but I do feel good tonight. I really don't think I'm going to care if my cat meows at 3:00am or not. He can meow his heart out until my alarm goes off at 5:00am.

Have a blessed night everyone.
