<p>Not much fun yet, but I am drinking a delicious cup of Caribou coffee!  The company was founded by a family with ties to our alma mater - I get a kick out of that.  And it's tasty!</p>

<p>So I called the place where I had my horrendous meeting 2 weeks ago to withdraw my name from consideration and was baffled to find out that they were shocked..SHOCKED...that I was doing so.  Apparently, they thought it had gone quite well.  Oh man.  <span><img alt="rolleyes.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;"></span>  If that's what they considered good, I'd hate to see what they thought was bad.</p>

<p>It's the right decision and I'm glad it's behind me.  And my boss was very happy to hear that I wasn't leaving.  And that was nice too.</p>

<p>Dropped <strong>Duck</strong> off at the T this morning, much too early for his flight, but I had to get into work early.  I am so glad I've got an appt with Dr Phil tonight...my anxiety has been off the charts for the past couple weeks. Work, my mom, and a bunch of other stuff is really getting to me. </p>

<p>I'm heading up to PA for some family visiting for the rest of the week. The first stop is my in-laws. I'm very meh about that stop, but I know they enjoy seeing my girls, and, while there is nothing but love between us, they have such a different family dynamic than what I grew up with. It makes for an uncomfortable visit for me. However, I'm am going to my parents' home at the end of the week and am super excited about that.</p>

<p>I did think about waiting to hear from them - I waited almost 2 weeks to call them.  But they gave me no reason at all why I would want to work there.  Especially uprooting my family to do so.  It had such a negative vibe, I just couldn't shake it.  I'm confident I could have done the work, it's the atmosphere that concerned me the most.  I couldn't picture myself lasting in that environment.  Part of me also wondered if it's because I was interviewed by 3 men with very technical backgrounds.  They definitely weren't people oriented.</p>

<p>GOOD:  so I got a nasty gram from my boss over the weekend, setting up a meeting with me because I'd not gotten my (much delayed) monthly reports in on Fri.  I HAD gotten them in (remember I mentioned the meltdown over Sharepoint?  this), but I hadn't told her I'd put them in my report folder (where they are supposed to go.)  Well, I told her as much, apologized I'd not told her, but they were done.  She emailed me this morning saying, <em>no need to meet, yes, I'd thought you'd tell me, all set.</em> Phew!<br>

<p>We have our end of the quarter pot luck today and I just had the best pie I've ever had in my life.  I'm not a pie person but I just asked the pie maker if she'd adopt me if she says no I'm going to ask her husband.  best pie ever!!</p>

<p>I don't have anything else so far today.  I have book club tonight and tomorrow I'm donating my hair to Locks of Love!  I'm super excited to donate and can't wait to see what kind of new cut my hair dresser gives me!!</p>
