Good Morning,

Easy and slow 5.2x miles today. Pace was much better than yesterday. Still tired but I felt better today.

Friday the 10th sounds scary... anyway, the same 9 or so miles as yesterday. I managed to pick up the pace in the last 4 miles after slogging for 5. Odd thing, the "or so" was 0.1 miles shorter than yesterday. Exact same route. I guess my Garmin is feeling as tired as me? It did the same on Wednesday, where my outbound leg was 0.15 shorter than the inbound. Then I figured it was just scared of the dark.

Hi everyone:

FlBoiler -- Good job. Glad to hear the pace was more to your liking.

RA -- I know those things aren't 100% accurate, but that's a pretty big difference. You sure you didn't take a detour yesterday? Water the foilage, maybe?

loopy -- Great job. Hope things hold up. And your new avatar scares me.

zrun/Gumby -- Nice job. How long tomorrow?

Dan -- Have a good rest day, sir.

Me -- Six recovery after a bit, then I think I'll be working from home.

A bit stiff and sore still this morning, so I'm glad I can recover today. Me and my freshman will probably "accidentally" run into the CC team when we go for our run so we can be with the guys. It just happens sometimes... ;)

Good morning everyone. Nice job on all of the running and resting. Today would have been a rest day, but I needed to get in a few mor miles. So 3.2 miles in 28:34(8:56). Where did summer/fall go as of now it seems like winter will be here way too soon. Hopefully it will warm up in the next few days. Have a great moring everyone.

Good morning everyone!

Some nice runs out there today.

14 miler for me this morning. First 10 at a 8:30 pace, next 3 at 7:25 pace and finished up with a cool down mile. It felt good! I think I am ready to start hitting it hard again!

Happy training everyone.

Morning all

Busy group as usual.

I'm working from home today, planning on a brick workout later. First I'll ride my road bike up to the shop (~6 miles) for a long overdue fitting, then ride it back and do a little 5k trot through the neighborhood. Road ride of about 25-30 planned for tomorrow, probably followed by some weight work. I'm officially in taper mode for my half marathon on 9/19 now (Wilson Bridge Half Marathon).

Flyby from the library. My computer crashed last night. Might be AWOL for a bit...

16-18 on tap for this afternoon. Planned on doing it before co-op but did the math and starting a run at 5am seemed a bit much. High in the mid-70's, so should be okay.

Son1 and I are heading up to Grandma's tomorrow, then the century tour on Sunday. So I won't be around too much!

Nice runs and rests everyone.

Hawk- My 'man cave' is basically going to consist of me....sleeping. Just a small bedroom w/ a walk-in closet for me to put all my hunting stuff in. I'm hoping I can sleep a lil better up there being farther away from everything.

I got out for a 3 mile shake out... and I hope it did just that.. cause it felt like I had plenty of kinks during my run.

Hey guys. I was up at 5:15 this morning fro some p90x - shoulders and arms. We're not doing the structured program right now, just the three strength workouts each week.

Imma try to make myself get out for a run this afternoon. I've made an appointment with my PCP to get my thyroid and iron levels checked. I've just been feeling fatigued and a bit blue, and I've gained a few pounds over the last couple of months. I suspect it's a mental issue, but it would be nice to rule out physical causes.

The map shows a significant detour from the path through the trees in two locations. However, no detour was required. Today. I see errors in the same locations all the time but never noticed such a large variance in distance on this route, well not that I can remember, which isn't saying much.

Loopy - love the outfit. Is your brother dressing as Perseus?

Okay, now THAT sucked!!! Even at 75*, running in the middle of the day is NO FUN! First half of the run was good. After that, things fell apart. I ran out of water and the fountain where I had hoped to refill isn't just turned off, the city removed it! So I was out of water at m12. At m13, I detoured to a neighborhood with condos where the buildings are steps from the sidewalk. And all condos have a faucet. That faucet with a key was FAIR GAME! But, by then, my day was over and I W/R the rest. Long 16. NOT what I needed.

That is too bad, 4boys, there oughta be a law! At least it's over and you got some benefit from it. I am running 16 too, it's on the sched for tomorrow morning. If the weather forecast is to be believed, there should be plenty of water :)
