4.5 miles, with 2 at tempo pace. Hammies are twingy, need to get a walk and stretch in later.

Good Morning!
 
We have a house showing in a bit, so I've been making it sparkle all morning. I haven't run yet, I'll get out after they are done.
 
2oh, I hope we hear some updates from you today and your feeling alright (and that Mrs2oh is taking awesome care of you!)! I got his text that it went well, but he was super groggy when the doc told him what he did and didn't remember the details. Thinking good thoughts!

I love that pig! Where did you find such a thing??
 
Well, here I thought I was on a new fitness roll - feeling the mojo and ready to rock. And this morning I've woken up to my first experience with vertigo. Wow, it's freaky and sucky. I posted more detail in the fun thread, even though it's not fun AT ALL. <img alt="tongue2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/tongue2.gif"> A friend is picking me up to drive me to the doctor later this morning - sounds like they will send me to the vestibular area to adjust my ear canals, or some such stuff. good times, gooooood times.

Maybe the sparkly pig will be a good luck charm, Jen! Did you figure out where you would move if you sell the house?
 
I got my "long" run out of the way ultra early this morning because we're supposed to get snow through the night and I have a martini party tomorrow night so I have a feeling I wouldn't want to do my long run Sunday. 10 miles done at a decent pace. Longest run in a bit. Felt great.
 
Anyone racing this weekend? I think Maria is doing a 10k. Anyone else?

((((Goon))))) - My neighbor had that a few months ago and actually ended up in the hospital. He said he felt like he was super drunk and super hungover at the same time - very painful and nauseating. I hope it passes soon. Do you know what can cause it?

3 miles outside. Waaaay too much work for what it was. It's snowing - the first that's stuck - but before it stuck it melted, and then the temp dropped, so there are slippery patches out. <img alt="huh.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif">

There is a house downriver from here that has a huge cement pig in their front yard up by the road. They dress the pig up for every holiday. A couple weeks ago they had a giant turkey tail (made from cardboard and painted) attached to his butt. This month they'll have him in Rudolph's position (and wearing antlers and whatnot) in front of a sleigh. He gets dressed as Cupid, a leprechan, the easter bunny, as a soldier (memorial day), patriotic gear, etc. Funny.

Morning all. Didn't have time to run and get myself together before heading into the dentist pre-work so the run will come later. I do have a 10K on Sunday but may not use it for anything more than a fitness test.
 
Feel better Big G! My dad is suffering from bouts of vertigo as well and heading back to the doc next Tuesday to determine which ear canal's calcifications need adjusting

 Thanks for the hugs and love guys. I also posted in the Fun Thread. It's not a stroke or fluid in the ears, so by process of elimination it's BPVV, which is crystals lodged in the ears. I need to do maneuvers to dislodge them. I thought they'd do that at the doctors' office, instead I got a sheet of how-to instructions. bah. I also got a scrip for meclazine for the nausea, at the lowest possible dose since I'm sensitive to antihistamines, they knock me OUT. She said it should resolve in a week. I really wanted it resolved TODAY! sigh. o well.

Kath, that pig sounds AWESOME! How fun! MrJenRuns is getting obsessed with pigs. He has 2 race shirts from MN with pigs on them that are his favorite tees right now and he had fun petting the pigs and the county fair up there!
 
I guess I'm running in a 5k tonight. It should be interesting. Broken Jen, who's a morning runner...it'll be fun nonetheless! Also, I'm secretly worried about something more serious needing to get done to my back so I feel like I should get in fun races while I can.
 
Duck, good luck with the tape! I've had success with it for some things, that's for sure!

BigG!!!! I hope you feel better soon. One time I got water in my tube/ear/whatever thing while using the neti pot and I went right down with the room beyond spinning. That was a terrible feeling and it only last a couple of minutes.

6.26 miles this afternoon along the river parkway.. well, 4.78 actually and then i circled my block waiting for A to wake up after she screamed for the first 30 mins of the run which made me turn back early. lmao.

I ran for 40 minutes on the TM at the gym this evening. First run in a new pair of Wave Rider 13s. Gotta love the first run in a new pair of shoes!

Missy! The puppies are great! How's Miss Bella doing with a little human sister? Labs are the best!!! Suunta has a best friend yellow lab named Lacy! She loooooooooves her!
 
5k was fun!!! I'm glad I went, we'll see what my back/leg says about this tomorrow but I felt totally fine during the run. 19:58 on dead.even.splits...nice and steady effort, no pushing. I'm glad I can still dip under 20, now I need to get another minute off of that, haha. It'll be a while. I'll be glad to work in some speed work again at some point. Heck, I'll be glad if I'm not in major pain tomorrow!
