morning!

Thanks for getting things started, LL!

Ran the suckiest 3 miles yesterday. Been having great runs since Philly, but I guess something caught up to me yesterday. Nothing serious, just a sucky run. SO, I passed the good-run baton from Crane onto whomever wants it for today... It's still got good vibes in it -- I'll request it back for my run tomorrow. Today's a day off...

Morning.

Just did 5.5 miles in 12 below zero windchill. Fun stuff.

Solar - I might need that good-run baton tomorrow - supposed to do a 5k race and we're supposed to get a snow storm tonight - 8-9 inches.

Happy Friday!

Ouch, I think I would've chosen the dreadmill.

No running for me today. Just redid my 50K schedule again. Guess I'll be getting in a couple of 22 milers and a 24 miler in the coming weeks. If my body holds up that is; I still might cut the mileage a bit or just do it by time (like 4-5 hrs).

I took my new shoes out for a 4 mile spin last night. I didn't realize how much I needed them. My legs felt much better after my run then they had been.

Good luck to any one who is racing tomorrow.

I just wanted to say that I am really starting to enjoy this running and cross training due to the fact I am finally seeing some results. I feel better about myself and I know I look better. Dog-gone it I just had a Stuart Smiley moment.

I've run a 5K in conditions nearly that bad, but a training run? Yikes! That does it, I'm never moving to MN.

However, my friend who is living and working at a resort in the boundary waters has nearly convinced me to make a roadtrip there this summer.

I probably will not get in a run today, but tomorrow I get to do a 5K with Roo.

I got in 3.35 yesterday. It started to pour so we turned around and headed back to the office (I wasn't dressed for cold rain, had shorts and a thin long sleeve T on).

I looked at the hourly forcast for my area and it says snow at 9am and freezing rain by noon so if I get up early enough I can get my first run in the snow done! Jill, I'm thinking about doing 7.5 on the Columbia Trail if you are interested (and feel better).
