Didn't run last night. So either I do 5 tonight and 6 tomorrow or just bag the 5 and cross train today. I am not that confident in my ability to run that mileage back to back. Perhaps a 3 mile run and than the 6 mile tomorrow.

Considering i am still laid out.... don't think i'm going to make my 7. Frack. I'm wondering if since this up coming week was a step back week if i can just repeat this (since i didn't run at all) and skip next week's step back since i got a good rest. hmmm

Morning all! Good luck to those in races and good runs/workouts to all. Tim roll out the sunshine, headed your way!

Ran for about 25 minutes last night and just did a little speed work. Felt good. Had a group class and my trainer killed my arms. She was practically evil she was smiling so much. I thought of Theia and had to smile. Did I mention I really like my trainer and it makes me laugh that she is pleased when I say, THIS SUCKS! Good workout.

Good luck this weekend racers!
Have fun with your first race, Maples!!

I'm heading out to do 10 in about an hour. My legs still hurt from lifting Wednesday. Ugh.

I was asked to sub for my old soccer team tonight. I'm not sure if I am going to or not. It's a 10pm game and I am supposed to do 9 miles tomorrow morning with the training group. I have a feeling, if I play, I will play the whole game because they don't have enough people. I guess I have a few more hours to decide.

Happy runs to all!

Good luck to all the racers this weekend!!

No run today for me. 9 tomorrow a.m. and I had better stretch pretty well. I've been skipping that a lot lately, and I can tell in my calves that they are tighter than normal.

I did 10 last night. It was one of the best feeling runs I've had in a while. It felt pretty easy and when I finished up I was ahead of my pace at the half-marathon in Philly. My legs felt good too, I could have kept going and easily beaten my Philly time. That felt good, really good. I've been slacking on the running miles lately, but I think maybe some of the leg and core strengthening I've been working on is helping a lot.

Good luck to the 'Bama folks and anyone else challenging themselves this weekend! I've got a nice sized group run planned for Sunday so that should be fun.

Speaking of fun - tonight is the Daddy-Daughter Dance! Woohoo! My girl is very excited about it - she got a new dress that she has said "I just can't sleep...I keep thinking about my beautiful dress!" As we were talking at breakfast this morning, I burped and she said "Daddy..you're not going to do that at the dance, are you?" We're also going to dinner together...a nice Italian place so she will have pizza or something like that. I refuse to take her to McDonald's if I have to wear a suit!

6 recovery outside tonight. tomorrow is LR day but the weather is going to be horrible (-15 with blizzard conditions). I'll probably end up running it on a treadmill.

Mwwaaaahahahahahahahaaaa! We are ALL evil! That's why we make complete fools of ourselves on a regular basis for very little money; the satisfaction of torturing poor souls like you makes it all worthwhile!!

Have fun! Sounds so cute.

Running and lifting tonight; 2 hour Spinning class tomorrow; running, teaching a total body conditioning class, and swimming on Sunday!

3 in store on the treadmill tonight - we got stupid. . .muttermuttermutter. . .windchill advisories for this week-end so my 4 tomorrow will also be on the TM. But, I have Daniel Craig to keep me company, so I guess it's not all bad.

Other than that, Thanks to the folks last night who are likin' the new Mary. Y'all are wonderful. (And, Biah - the tri is the Brewhouse tri, first Sunday in August, tiny little short course, I thought about signing up for the long but DH pointed out school's gonna get in the way of the training. I'm also debating doing the BU tri again. . . )
