Morning, peeps.

Swim leg of sprint tri done. Switched from the evening session to the morning, at the downright uncivilized time of 5:55 a.m. 750 yards in 12:16. Significant improvement over last year's 13:59. Bike and run tomorrow a.m.

Good ones to all.

chances--the advantage to stupid early morning swims is you don't have to deal with the blue hairs--either in the fishbowl or the locker room.

I think I'm gonna log a rest day. Yesterday did me in. I really am glad I can do it, but driving to Grandma's, taking her to the doctor, and driving back home--especially with the wind and rain yesterday--does me in.

Morning...

Still in the islands on vacation. Rough life, yeah I know. We're in St. Thomas now after 4 glorious days in St. John. While there I racked up my best swim totals ever. I bet I've swum 3 miles this week. Granted a lot of that came with fins and a snorkel but I was pretty far out there in the deep water and you're still battling the current. Saw some amazing things. I managed to get a couple of 5 milers in on the road/trail loop near our hotel. It had some massive hills, easily 10% or more but once you got to the top the views were spectacular. We got a couple of pretty cool hikes in at VI National Park too.

I think we'll take a beach day today. Home tomorrow. What a week though.

Nice water work this morning Chances. Enjoy the rest day 4bm.

Hawk--that's where we spent our honeymoon! I can't remember if we sayed on St John or St Thomas, but it was the smaller one. We stayed at Maho Bay and would hike over to Cinnamon Bay. The views are breath taking! We've always talked about going back.

Solid way to wrap up the week y'all....especially CMJ. Enjoy it while that lasts. Would you be so kind as to post some of your favorite pictures when you come home?

Off for the last XC race of college for me. Perhaps if things go extraordinarily well I could extend my season by a few weeks. There's perks to making and not making it for me, so basically it's going to be a fun, no pressure race. Plus it is an absolutely gorgeous day. Have a great weekend everyone!

In Austin. We drove the 70.3 bike course... HILLY and terrible roads. I ran one loop of the 3 loop run course to check it out... HILLY. The fact that it was 90F didn't help. Looking to get in 10 tomorrow am when it's in the 60s.
