Morning all;

Got out early for 8 or so miles. A breezy, dark 50F. I'd forgotten to delete prior workouts so my Garmin was full after 1 mile, which I discovered later than 1 mile. No idea on time or splts so let's just say that it came out to a 8mpm average.

Don't you hate it when that happens Asics- nice run regardless.

Scheduled day off for me but I couldn't get to sleep until after 4 last night, so I might have to go for a run before I drive home just to wake myself up.

RA- yea, I've had that happen before too. I wish you could delete a month at a time instead of 3

MBH- Drive safe! Take a GU if needed

I got out for a decent 4 mile shake out this morning. Kinda sore from yesterday's run, but shins held up better today.

I used to like HM pace whne it was 8:00 mpm, then it was still OK at 7:45, but now that its under 7:30, it just isn't too fun anymore. Getting faster has its downs I guess...

BBS - LOL on HM pace - it's a nice problem to have... I have to do mine @ 6:30mpm... that ain't happening.

Mailbox - caffeine.

Why doesn't the Garmin just overwrite the old workouts? Also I thought it could be set you hold a specific time period but I may be getting confused with my old Polar RS800. Anyway, glad I ran early as now it's uber windy plus I'd have missed out on a coyote encounter.

Hi, all.

Nice job, RA. I do that too -- When my Garmin(TM) is full, 8-minute pace it is.

MBH -- That's the spirit. Push back and go for a run.

BBS -- Running never gets easier, just faster. Nice recovery.

Kevin -- Good job today. And have fun tomorrow.

Mornin' Friday peeps,

Busy as hell today at work...need to clear my desk 'cuz I'm on vacation next week!

My schedule today says "trail run" of unspecified mileage (lately that's generally meant the 5-7 range) at an easy pace. Pretty sloppy out there though as we've gotten mega-precipitation the last 1.5 days, and are still getting it. So we'll see. My bag is packed for multiple options -- so I could do TM, or even barefooting it on the gym's indoor track in my VFFs.

Probably doing 20 tomorrow so I don't have to worry about doing it after I get back from vacation the following Saturday afternoon.

No time for individual shout-outs...but nice job all.

Posting from the library again. I swear these keyboards are designed so bad to keep people from lingering too long. Logging a goose egg for today. Planned on a little splishing and splashing but slept too late. Oh well.
