Morning, all.

Loopy -- Another solid run in the books.

Kevin -- Sounds like great conditions.

Zrun -- See private message.

RA -- You too.

Me -- I've never been on the fence for so long about anything in my life. It's been an agonizing 48 hours as I've watched the forecast in Chicago go from less than ideal but manageable, to moderately tolerable, to slightly menacing. My thought was I could outrun the heat that was coming by late morning. I'm in. I'm out. I'm in.

I'm out. Another uptick in the forecast overnight. Hometown race is the same day. Conditions here aren't great, either, but better. I just want what is likely my last marathon to reflect my best effort. Gonna miss meeting up with zrun, RA, and some other fine folks. Disappointed, yes. This is the second time I've bailed out of Chicago. DW will be happy, however.

I'm ready to be called whatever derogatory names you all have for me.
