Master - 'slept in till 4:45' - nuts.

Mike - sounds like a great weather waiting for you on Sunday. Have a great time. A friend of mine, 78, I think he is, just did 50K on a totally insane trail course (literally you had to be on your hands and knees), took him 10, TEN freakin hours. Hope it wouldn't take you that long, young man.

Matt - must be due to the 10/15 tax due.

(well, since I am commenting all M's so far, I will have to add a few more here....)

Miles - Sorry that you are so streesed at work. Not to discourage you or anything, but are you sure you want to take up a job hunting as you approach the toughest part of IM training... best of luck toyou.

MQ - woohooo!!

Took a Specialized Stumpjumper 29er (demo bike) to the single track. HA!!! Immediate PR!!! 35:49!!! (Previous PR:36:39). The sore shoulder didn't bother me, but the first 10-15min was shaky - this is my first ride on trail after the Xterra natls and any downhills/slipping/sliding reminded me of the painful crushes I had in Utah and I was hodling onto the brake like a baby. Boy, this 29er can climb and goes over things much more easily. THe handlebar was insanely long and I was slow making tight corners, and I got stuck behind a man twice. In spite of all these, it was still faster. I am impressed. Mmmmm, choices, choices, choices.... I have this demo bike until the end of tomorrow. I may take it to a different trail tomorrow.
