Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Don: Yesterday you wrote this:

"If you've been using Kinvaras, the Brooks PureConnect or PureFlow would be the best choices. The PureCadence adds stability and the PureGrit is a trail shoe. My favorite is the PureFlow, but we've sold lots of the PureCadence because many people need that extra bit of stability to help with overpronation."

Kinvaras? Those are so yesterday! I gave up on them a while back. Love the fit. Love the feel. Don't love how my body feels after 7 hard miles. In reality, I have tried Kinvara, Cortona, other light-weight non-minimalist Saucony, Adidas (several different models), Nike LunarFly 2 (I like these and will likely get another pair at some point), and probably a few others I cannot recall right now.

I trust your advice and am willing to give another shot. Maybe you can help me further. I am a neutral runner who adores cushion. I put mega miles on all of my shoes, but I alternate out nearly every day so that I wear a pair of shoes, at most, twice per week and usually just once. So my shoes last one to two years.

If I have it right...

PureConnect or PureFlow would probably be best for me.

PureCadence is stability version of either Connect or Flow.

PureGrit is trail, so if I like Connect or Flow for roads, Grit would be a good bet for trails.

What is the difference between PureConnect and PureFlow?

And which would you recommend for me for daily miles (wearing shoe one to two times per week)?

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give!

Me...

7 mile run early this cold morning. Part tempo, part easy, part sliding due to black ice, the first of the season due to overnight snow fall. Eesh.

Great day, gang!
