Good morning, TEAM LIT!

MQ: Yes, Jaime's Pub Run... but I never made it there. It was raining, and Heather wanted to go out, so I did date night with my honey instead. I didn't need the miles and in fact was better off without them. But I wanted to re-connect with some old MVS friends. Oh well. I'll see them at the races.

Alaska Mike: Know that you're not alone. What we do is highly repetitive and, well, it does get old when focusing on the same thing day in and day out for year after year. As I always say, go chase what is fun, which sometimes might be something new, and sometimes it might be something old, and if it's something old, find a way to introduce something new. It keeps us fresh.

Thor: I thought those had stopped last week. Good to know. Maybe another time after AZ.

Not sure where Thor was but I did 18 this a.m. with the ladies and while we did have some gentle rain there was plenty of downpour and soaked feet. A hot shower was super terrific at the end along with my chocolate milk. Glad to have it in the bank though and felt better than I thought doing it. Our last mile was a sub 10 which was icing on the cake.

I'm starting to feel all the miles. Hubster made me promise this a.m. that after this race I'm done with this distance for a long time. I agreed. It is too much on the joints given the inflammatory arthritis as time marches on.

Have a great weekend everyone! Take care of yourselves.

In exciting news, Bill bought me a treadmill yesterday! I don't love the treadmill for sure, but will love having it since I can now get a run (walk for now) in early am or anytime it's too slippery out in the winter! :)

Daily run after work. It's been crazy at work too. We're doing inventory on Sunday and we've been doing prep for that for the past couple of weeks. I'm scheduled Sunday from 6 PM until 3 AM Monday morning. That should be a long day because I'm also racing in the morning.
