Good morning everyone. I have not run yet, but plan on a nice easy 5. Yesterday I wrote on the race calendar that I put it up as a wiki. It is titled Race calendar finish line run and race people. You can go there and update, add races, results etc... Enjoy the morning everyone.

Have run with the 5 and the 21, Kevin and BBS. I am in the back of a van on the way to Chattanooga for the Tennessee Ragnar relay. I'm runner #3 of 12. It's going to be cold!

I am thinking that I have some sort of stomach bug, but I still managed to get out this morning. If I take it easy I feel o.k. It was slow for sure today. 5 miles in 45:55(9:11). Now it is time for some relaxation. Tomorrow I am going to the ESPN college game day here in Salt Lake City. Uth is playing TCU and it should be fun.

Nice going all. I got out for a recovery jog. 30F and windy. Nice... I was frozen after 20 mins. The marathon should be fun.

Fly-by. Still sick. I feel okay, just a bit of coughing and I have no voice. Son4 had home school co-op this morning, taking the dog to the vet this afternoon. No real time to fit in a workout, plus since I'm not training for anything, an extra rest day won't hurt.

My collie dog turned 11yo on Monday. His health has never been good, but this week he's taken a turn for the worse. He's having trouble sitting and lying down, so he opts to just stand. This morning he fell down the stairs. Doubtful the vet can do anything, but with me heading to Phoenix next week, I want to be sure that he'll be okay while I"m gone.

Hey all,

Just riding on the bus to NYC right now, passing trough Baltimore at present. Gotta love a bus that has internet. Wifi on wheels. We missed our scheduled 11:30 bus by 2 minutes but were lucky enough to catch the next one out, so we're only a little behind schedule now. Not the schedule for today was set in stone or anything. Not sure if I'll be able to make the expo this afternoon now, though. May have to wait until tomorrow morning. Ditto for getting in that one last little pre-race jog.

kevin - nice job on the 5

BBS - bust that 21 out!

4bm - glad to hear things are getting better with the cold

Jebba - have fun with Ragnar. Some day I'd like to do one of those.

RA - oh the joys of icicle sweat. Weather for NYC looks a little more seasonal...30s in the morning going up into low 50s. I assume you're heading down this afternoon? Or are you already there? Either way, good luck.
