Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Bannon: I doubt you over did the calf with the Stick. I don't really know that you can over do the Stick. And I don't know that you can really over do deep-tissue techniques. However, you can over do stretching, and often when we do deep-tissue techniques on ourselves we couple it with stretches of various positions, so maybe that was it. But you would know. You would feel the "tearing" rather than stretching, even if just a small amount. At least that's my experience. So maybe for you it isn't over doing anything but rather a pesky problem that often will feel healed but is waiting for the one wrong move, and then it'll stick around for a while. Good luck with it. And good luck building to 12 minute miles by Thanksgiving

3 mile sluggish run early this morning. This was more of a filler run. Did a pretty intense leg workout yesterday during the noon hour, so my legs were trashed. On top of that, I was, shall I say, hung over. Had a wildly fun time last night at an induction ceremony to a local running club. The club has a fun membership entry. You run with the club, and when you touch all borders of neighboring towns (I think there are 8 to 12 borders), you become a member. It's actually hard and takes most people a year or two. I got in last month in one day! We had this Ultra Border Crawl that hit all borders in one day. I logged 38 miles that day. It was all snails pace, so it wasn't all that hard, but that's how I got in. Good people. Fun time. A lot of good beer. Paying for it now.
