Hit the exercise bike again this morning. Started with a 30 min hill program that was just a repeating cycle of 1 min on, 1 min off. Then did 1 hour of 5 min off, 7 min on with the on sections being 180, 200, 220, 240 and 260 watts and the off sections being 120 watts. Finished up with 10 min cool down.

FIB 15 min brick run on the treadmill, 2.1 miles.

Happy Friday peeps!

I don't know if I ever develop some sort of plan this multi-sport season. I don't have a goal race this year - swim x3, bike x4, how many ever runs I can fit in, is what I am doing, based on weather, kids' activities, what I feel like doing on that day.

Yesterday ended up with another workout of about 6mie run to take care of a few things, which included 1mile socks run on grass, and another 20min of some barefeet drills on grass while killing time before picking up DD.

Another 7miles today including a bunch of drills and 100's, and a few 200's on the track. That is it today.

I wrote a 7-day meal plan last Friday, and succesffully stuck with it for a while darn week, Yay, me! That included a hand-made pizza night on Friday. The dough I made last week using my breakmaker turned out to be pretty good. Excited about tonight's experiment.

So what's tonight's experiment Yoshiko? I'm making Vietnamese summer rolls. Yeah the clouds are back and it's going to rain again but a girl can dream, right?

Vietnamese summer rolls - wow, that sounds interesting. I have started looking through many cookbooks I have, boy there are so many looking-good recipes!

My definition of 'good cook' is somebody who can wing it with his/her own twist based on what's available - they can do this based on knowledges, experiences, and build-in instincts. Some of you guys on this board - which definately includes you hobey - have these! To answer your question, I am not quite ready to risk our dinner by totally experimenting it. The same dough, with a bit different sauce and ham & pinapples per DS's request. After his BB practice.

4 mile run. HR was a bit high, but I guess I'm not surprised. No major complaints from the legs or ankle tendons.

Second open water swim of the season....race next weekend, so at least I didn't wait until the last minute. :)

It went pretty well. Physically I can do it no problem, the water with me is all a battle of the mind. I need to NOT think about getting tangled in rope, or attacked by pythons while swimming. I thought about these things but kept swimming. I know, maybe I need therapy. LOL!

Swam about 300 warmup, then 2100 yds in about 45 minutes.

7.5mile z2 run on the lake front in 1:23. That's a blisteringly fast pace for the HR. Felt great.
