Friday the 13th... no running under ladders today.

Rest day for me, thank goodness. My 6 actually ended up being my best 'feeling' run I've had all week, go figure. Raining here, and flood waters have destroyed my favorite trail... I gotta scope out a new place to run tomorow...

BBS - nice job with the 6 yesterday. Enjoy the rest day. Also, watch out for black cats crossing your path...

I didn't end up getting my run in yesterday. My body said rest. So, got out for an ad hoc 11 this morning. A few muddy spots on the horse trail sucked at my shoes but generally held it around 8mpm.

Good morning BBS and RA.

BBS- My run today was my best so far this week also.

I went out for some 1/4 mile repeats. I was not sure how many I would do though.

9X .25 miles

1:50; 1:52; 1:55; 1:48; 1:45; 1:46; 1:45; 1:39; 1:44

It seemed that the longer I ran the better the repeats got and the paces went down quite a bit from the first one. I could have done a few more for sure, but in interest of time I was done.

Howdy folks,

I'm in Portland, got in late yesterday afternoon. No running yesterday with all the traveling and feeling generally wiped out from it.

Heading to the funeral soon that should hopefully be over by mid/late afternoon. Then I may have a window for a run. Staying @ SIL's house where thanks to being here during the holidays, I now have a couple of familiar routes to run.

I was hoping tomorrow would be a free day and I could sleep in and then go for a long one but apparently everyone is expected to help clear out GM's apartment and I suppose divvy up who gets what. It's DW's family & I don't control the agenda here, just have to suck it up and be a "team player."

Apple/RA/BBS - enjoy those trails. Hope you find some dry ones. Apple if you need new trail shoes try the Saucony Peregrines and then report back to me on how they are. ;)

Kevin - nice running, sounds like you are back for good now.

Hi, gang.

I've had a tough week at work as we are training a newbie (I'm a newspaper copy editor) and it ain't going well. Puts a lot of strain on everybody else. Going into today I had just two feeble 3-mile runs this week.

This evening I escaped to the rail trail and got in 5. Very pleased.

Good evening all, guess I'll close it down again?

Well I finally got out there to run around 6pm, after we got back from the funeral and a late lunch.

Maybe I just like running out here or something because my legs had it working tonight. First mile in 7:46, then I dropped it to around 7:15/mile and kept it there. Nice little MP run of 6.5 miles. 15 minutes of core afterwards.

I'll take that for sure. Have good nights, all.
