Well nice day today with only a high of 68, so much more comfortable weather. Also will be doing no strenuous work, probably just massaging and icing and stretching for tomorrow's big race.

Have an awesome day!

Get some good rest, Alex.

I too will be resting today. It's been a lousy week, exercise-wise. I've been sleep deprived and the drama with my cat have made my workouts pretty awful. I'll probably do 10 miles on the stationary bike and call it a day.

I ran 4 miles of recovery in an extremely dense fog which left me soaking wet at the end of the run. I've got a 5-mile race tomorrow morning and I hope that my legs will be up to the challenge.

I went to spinning class, then got on the treadmill and did 5 miles in just under 45 minutes, easy running for the most part. This was my longest run in two months! My foot isn't bothering me at all on runs, just can be a bit achy now and then. Next week I am going to try a run outdoors.

Have a great race tomorrow - Alex

I was suppose to run 22 this morning and didn't - I did run [email protected] lunch and will do something tonight. I can not run long this weekend, so this was it. I skip many runs - but the bed was wonderful this morning.

What time do you have to wake up to run 22 miles before work??? You should sleep run, like sleepwalking, but can add to your training

Thanks Mikey...and I too am wondering what time would be required for the get-up on that. 4? 3:30? Either way, I can see how you opted for the snooze time.

Today's plan was 9 miles, but I had to go to a confirmation, and that killed that.

Tomorrow the plan is 5 recovery miles, but since I'm not recovering from anything, i think I might alter the plan slighty. I think I might do the 9 miles (10 miles actually), with the first 5 at a general aerobic pace, and the second 5 at a recovery pace.

I am also debating repeating week #2 due to the bonk I had the other night, and the fact that I missed tonight's run. Not sure yet. We'll see.
