A familiar name from a different place! What's up? I've been a little behind in updating my runs over there lately. I forgot my password. And, of course, I've been a bit busy here as well.

I know I've got a few usernames floating out around on the 'net where I've forgotten the passwords.

The Post Your Workouts thread at DF is nearly moribund right now unfortunately. I think I've got the last 4 posts in a row at it. It's a shame because being physically active can be extremely beneficial for type 1 and 2 diabetics, but I suppose it may be there's only a certain subset of people who exercise that are interested in posting about it. That is, there may be some who exercise, but just aren't interested in posting about it. Obviously, people who come to a forum like this are interested in posting about exercise programs.

It just sometimes seems sad to me that the Exercise forum at DF gets so little activity.

I ran T-W-Th, with Thursday being my hill route. Still feeling a little low in the red blood cell count, but I'm sure it will pass. 10K coming up on July 4th, so I'll try to get some quickness back by then.

Plan tonight was 13 miles medium long run. I did 13.3 miles.

I was going to repeat the hills, but came across a snake on the trail. I hate snakes. Even though it was just a garter snake, I decided to avoid him a 2nd time.
Instead I repeated the section from the start to the first water pumping station.

I took a header again tonight about mile 11. Landed again on my sore left shoulder. OW!

Run Segments
EQ - I tend to get lazy on trails when I'm tired, not pick up my feet, and bam! No advice (other than to try to concentrate on lifting your feet as you grow tired), but I can relate! Hope you'll be ok!

Yesterday was a rest day, boy did I need it.

You hit the nail right on the head Jen. Occasionally, I when I get tired/bored out there, my mind tends to wander and I don't focus as much as I should. I can get away with that on most of my pavement runs, but on trails I can't get away with it.

That had nothing to do with Wednesday's fall when there was a fox who took my attention off the trail. But Friday night's run was just that...I let my mind wander and wasn't paying close enough attention to the trail.
