Woohoo, first post. Missed yesterday's run, so ran this morning on my scheduled rest day. About 25 minutes before the sun was fully up. Now sipping a coffee while the fam sleeps contentedly upstairs.

Today was the dreaded workout of doom, but it was not that bad. I originally thought my coach made a type <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>
70 minutes on the stepper<br>
1 hour running<br><br>

I ran from my parents' house to the Fargo Y, did some miles on the treadmill there, and then ran back along the river for a total of 7 miles.<br><br>
It is so nice to run in cooler temperatures and less humidity!<br><br>
rhody, I know what you mean about losing fitness. I still feel like I'm rebuilding mine. It takes a while, so hang in there.

I decided I'd cut out today's run since I've been feeling a bit rundown and don't want to overdo things before the season even starts. Tonight we leave for vacation so after like 24 hours of driving we should be in Montana...I won't get to talk with you guys for 9 days...unless I find someplace with computer access.<br><br>
Have an awesoem weekend and then week, and then another weekend!

I bagged my cross training earlier in the week. I couldn't make myself get up this morning, so I pulled the x-train forward to today. So, 60 minutes on the stationary bike.<br><br>

Plan tonight was a 12 mile medium long run. I did this by doing the 10 miles of the trail, and did a repeat on mile 2 to 3 and then 3 back to 2.<br><br>
My other goal tonight was to get through the run without falling on my ass. I accomplished that.<br><br>
It was hot, humid, and just plain tough night to run. I was slower than I would have liked due to the heat and some tired legs, but I got the job done.<br><br>
I did see some wildlife tonight. I saw a blue herron, a jack-rabbit, a large snapping turtle, a beaver, a family of 6 ducks, and a ferrell cat.<br><br><b>Run Segments<br>
