Long run this morning in the drizzle. About 10.7 miles in 2:05. Ran from the Wildwood Motel, into town, along the IMLP run course and back (turning around before the course turn around) stopping at the expo. Loved viewing the Olympic Ski Jump center on the way back in...those athletes must me NUTS! The hilly bit back into town kind of slowed me down. Longest run since Feb 22, 2009! I felt pretty good during and after, but was super-glad that the folks in the ART tent were willing to do some work on an athlete who is only volunteering at IMLP.

Have come to the conclusion that the Boston Marathon has THE BEST expo EVER.

Yesterday, I rode for 2 hours starting at the hotel, heading north around Mirror Lake, following the run course, then headed East along 86 for a bit before turning around and following the run course back into town. Repeated the run course to 86 to town part again. Was fun! And, so beautiful that I almost cried while I was on the bike. As I was near the swim start during the first part of my ride, some folks carrying a sign held it up for me. It said, "Nice muscles!" I imagine it's for race day, but I so enjoyed that they held it up for me! I got back to the hotel and rested a bit. Then, Adam and I swam one loop of the swim. Nice having that cable line!
