*yawn* Good morning! We were up and at 'em for some abs and shoulders and arms. I'll run later.

Yesterday I did two miles on the indoor track at the Y.

Mom, I love the pic of your sons. I can't believe how old they all are. I kept thinking son4 was still 9 or something. Now they are all handsome young men!

Morning jebba, I guess you're representing for Tennessee in BBS' place since he's usually first on the thread.

BCOD swim for me this morning. Nice session, 1350 yards total and my overall pace was the best it's been since I started these crazy pre-dawn sessions. I'm happy to see some progress.

I may hit up an easy run this afternoon at some point. I'd certainly like to after missing a key interval workout yesterday. I won't get to make that workout up, given I plan to run long (14) tomorrow but I'd at least like to get a short trot in and get the legs moving that way again.

Have good runs, swims, bikes, walks, weight sessions or whatever else today. And Happy Friday!

I'm not dumping a ton of money on something I may not even get into. $400 bike will get me down the road a few times a month. It has Shimano comp., If I like it, I'll get a better one next year or so. I'm having to buy a reciever hitch for my truck, a bike carrier and all the other acces. too (helmet, clothes, etc.) I don't think I can get by with a whole lot more w/o DW meltdown/shopping spree.

ETA- 1 easy TM mile + 150 sit ups and 120 push ups

BBS - whatever works with the bike. Nice job getting your streak on.

Hawk - good job in the pool

jebba - you and BBS putting on a gun show later?

Well, staying up late did not bode well for getting up early and running. I need a lot more coffee. Anyway, planning on getting out over lunch. Will try to hit 8. Maybe.

ETA: what's with it and all the line breaks after a post?

Sitting in my office dreaming about an outside run as I look out the window at the sunshine & blue sky. However I won't be able to get out till after dark so it will be a TM run with girlfriend who I am trying to turn into a runner. I convinced her to sign up for a 5k in March so tonight I am going talk her into doing the HM in April. I know she can, so it's just a matter of her believing it.

Last night was a bonk. Got out late from work and laced up for late run outside. Ended up turning around at mile 1 and going home.

Good stuff so far everyone else.

I made it to a Chances annoying distance of 7.63 miles. Did not eat enough early in the morning so energy was low. Thankfully this marathon cycle is for Boston else I'd be rethinking a Spring marathon... this could be my last as 5k to HM will be my focus for a while.

Apple - I've run around the block and thought to myself "this sucks", then walked home. Some days are like that.

3 TM miles inside trying to convince friend she can run... Tonight we talked about mantras. It was comical to hear what she came up with.
