Well, here I am getting frustrated...... again. I spent a total of 20 min the mill yesterday walking at 3mph, and when I got done, my achilles hurt. I iced it, stretched it about 4 times, slept with my night splint and this morning IT STILL HURT!

I am in the process of getting ART for it and it does seem to be helping. I just went from going weekly to every two weeks because he said most of the scar tissue is gone.

So why is it still hurting when I only walk????

I have been over cautious because I have always read that the achilles is very slow to heal and its very easy to re-injure it. But I have been being cautious for 3 years now! I wanna run again, without worrying about being in pain or re-injuring it!

Everytime I start to feel optimistic, this happens.

Am I EVER going to be able to run and enjoy it again!

tigger, I need one of your hemp shirts....... to smoke!

That's OK Sierra, you never whine so you're just using one of your free passes! Maybe see a sports therapist to find out why it's still sore?

Second run was 3.9 miles of easy 4/1 runwalk in 45 min.

It was in the 60's and humid for me today. I felt good at the start so I explored a new trail today. I ended up with an 8.15 mile run in 1:11:52.

I was only planning a short 4 mile run but decided against it, as I want to be ready for long run on Sunday.
