This pic was taken before I drilled the salt & pepper holes. The bent white things in front are pyrometric cones from previous glaze firings, which I'm going to epoxy to the lumps on either side of the trunk after the shakers are glazed for their tusks. heh.

morning all.
 
Big weekend coming up. My parents and I are going to go watch my nephew's baseball tourney tomorrow and then on sunday I have to spend some quality time with my veggies and Craig and I are going to make up a list of everything that needs to be done in the barn by Sept. We are getting 2 bred Herferd heifers so they need a place to sleep all winter! My friend Megan and I were thinking up names last night. so far we have
 
Burger & Fries
Big & Mac
Pot & Roast
T-Bone
Sir Loin
 
but those are mostly going to be baby names if we end up getting boy babies and turning them into steers. 
 
For the momma's.... if I get the 2 momma's that I want they are going to be Hilde and Swish. If those 2 cows are gone I'm going to have to think of other names....

Bracing myself for a drama filled weekend, but naively hoping its not necessary. I don't know what it is, but 9/10 times we see this family, there's drama. Often minor, but drama none the less. My drama tolerance is quite low these days!

I love virtual parties! In HS, my best friends and I would all congregate at one of our houses for a sleepover, and we always made Tater Tots and Grape Kool-aid. It was fun then, so why not now? <img alt="dontknow.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/dontknow.gif">
 
Back to work after two days off. I managed to get some packing done, but failed to make it to the beach at all. This makes me sad...
 
Not sure what fun is on tap for me today, but it quit raining, so that's fun! Must go get ready for work. Bye for now, peeps!

Cow naming: Wippy: Are these pets or a food source? Hopefully pets. I'm not sure I'd want to name a critter that I'd be serving on a dinner plate at a later time.
 
Speaking of animals, my neighbor's pregnant horse STILL hasn't popped out the foal. Maybe this weekend....

MOOONIE!!! I'm dying for Taco Truck. I don't know how taco trucks are in the Bay area but there is one in Crow's landing that is fantastic and then the one that I'm really really craving is on the way out of Yosemite. Goodness those were to die for.....

gah, I've got tix to go to the Sox game tonight and it's drizzly and cool. Why is it every time I go to a game the weather stinks (and inevitably, there's a rain delay)? Meh. At least I threw sneakers and a sweatshirt in my car (and I can leave said car parked in my work garage which charges $35 on game nights, but I don't have to pay that.)
 
I'm kind of hoping the skies will open up and the game will be canceled.

From yesterday: soda now (but growing up it was all coke), butt-end (but growing up heel), couch, sandwich (sub if a roll), shake, and ottoman.
