Missed everyone yesterday!<br><br>
Dr.'s appointment went ok yesterday. 2 weeks of no overhead stuff. if that doesn't work, then I need a cortisone shot. I had already backed off the overhead things, but he wanted a few more weeks like that.

Umm, yeah. Last night was my company's holiday party, so the afternoon was dead. Needed some distraction going on. Company paid for hotels because of the weather, so I had a 3 minute commute this AM. I could get used to that. Of course, near my office the only thing I could afford would be a cardboard box.

I hope the site works all day today. I would hate to get something accomplished two days in a row. If I work again today, it could be the start of expectations from the boss. Oh final exams are OVER for us. Endless days of proctoring...seriously long hours and serious students in crisis. I thought I was in trouble with my district when the site was down for reading while I ate my lunch... Yeah. I know, I'm silly. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br><b>Beth</b> I've said, 'pissed off' to my kids a buncha times... and yesterday I said, "yeah... if you want to be trash, baby, then you go right ahead..."<br>
Here's a convo from yesterday that i'm sure would get me fired at your school.<br>
(my students were playing mats)<br>
Me: Now. Ya'll know you goin to where I stay tonight, right?<br>
Kids: Yes, Mama.<br>
Me: And I know folks out there. Used to work there and left that district to work with ya'll.<br>
Kids: Yes Mama<br>
Me: And you know that's where my partner work<br>
Kids: Yes Mama<br>
Me: So I don't care if you win or get beat like a drum... but if you go to my man's house and show out... ya'll gonna get it from me. I aint havin' people sayin' I left they school to work with a bunch of be be's kids actin like they aint been no where before. How ever much trouble you get in with coach, you get twice as much from me. You feel me?<br>

Hey folks! SO glad it is Friday but I just wish it was Friday at quitting time!!!<br><br>
Started to write my holiday cards out last night. Went through the 2 boxes of cards that I have and still have about 40 people left to send to! Yikes!! Will try to tackle that tomorrow.<br><br>
Treated myself to a decaf egg nog latte today, a very nice way to start the day.<br><br>
Guess that is all. I hope the site stays up today. I was so bored yesterday but unlike Colleen, I was not productive. Instead I found a blog to read and spent about an hour reading about the virtues of cupcakes and where in this fine country you can find the best ones!<br><br>

Office Christmas party tonight... blah... don't really want to go, but kind of feel like I have to... I'm bummed because most of my work "friends" won't be there.<br><br>

Good morning all! Hope everyone has a east Friday at work or play or both. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
Thanks for the well wishes the other day. My strategic day off from work to take medicine and rest worked. I feel normal today after feeling about 80% yesterday. SO glad that round trip conference is over. I drove my co-worker and myself 2.5 hours to arrive by 9 am. They proceed to hand out a 150 page booklet. Then from 9 am (minus lunch) until 4:20 pm speaker after speaker took turns READING their section of the manual/booklet with the same page being displayed on the screen. Can anything be more mind numbing than that? It's really insulting and irritating at the same time. Drive 5 hours round trip, then sit for about 6-7 hours and have people read a manual to you. Why not save the money they spent on hotels and mileage reimbursements and simply mail the manual to us and ask us to read it? Oh wait......... I forgot... I work for the government. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> "your tax dollars hard at work for you".

It will be a surprise... I'll post pics when available. I'll just tell you that it's going to be on my left shoulder. My hope is that it comes out good. I went to a few different places, talked to a few artists, and I really like the guy that I'm going with, he seemed the most sincere. He tattooed Jens Pulver for any of you MMA fans <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
