Morning sleepy heads. I am about to head to Starkvegas to face Flemdawgs Mississippi State team in our annual season ending grudgematch. *phew* 5:15 am wakeup call is not my idea of a day off from work! LOL Oh well at least that means we should be back home by 6 or so. That means I'll miss the Friday fun up until then but I'll leave that in very capable hands with the rest of you. 
I hope everyone loaded up on good food, fun and family yesterday. Anyone traveling today be safe.

I should not be awake though, I woke when DW was getting ready to go shopping. As long as I was awake I did go online at best buy and order my wireless router...their special deal was I get a $15 best buy card with it...so it was actually worth my time! 
will be around during the day, it is clean the house day for me and p[romised kids we would go see a matinee (Bee Movie maybe)

I was awakened at 5am by my sister seeing if I wanted to go shopping with her... I tried. Went to Kohl's = checkout lines wound around the store. At 5:30am! Left, went to Target = same thing. I hate shopping to begin with (I know, I'm the anti-woman when it comes to this) but I thought I'd try to join her on this ridiculous holiday tradition. UM, nope. I didn't stay. I got in my car, stopped for coffee, came home. So what all did you end up eating yesterday? 
I had turkey, green beans, mashed taters, and chili. I didn't feel like any desserts because of my hunger pig out on Wednesday. But I was satisfied, felt good and full and my blood sugars were excellent yesterday.

Yesterday, I had turkey, mashed potatoes, haricots verts, sweet potatoes mashed with maple syrup (YUM), stuffing, small salad, roll, and a YUMMY glass of reisling... didn't like the pumpkin cheesecake the restaurant served, so I only had two bites of that...

Good morning! 
Turkey Day went off without a hitch yesterday! The turkey came out awesome, my stuffing was the.most.excellent (and I'm sure that if you are a stuffing lover and you tried mine you would agree <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> ), the sweet potato and apple casserole was also excellent, as well as all the additional store-bought side dishes that I chose to buy instead of making myself too crazy. 
In answer to Scratch's question (and I liked your other avatar, btw) we had the obvious turkey, ham, homemade stuffing, sweet potato & apple casserole, maple roasted veggies, roasted beets (both courtesy of Wegman's), mashed potatoes, pecan walnut bread, apple pie and pumpkin pie. DH bought Jerry Garcia cabernet sauvignon for the first time and it was actually very good and only $7. Nice bonus there! 
Yesterday the weather here was so unbelievable!!! And today it's nice and cold. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad"> solar, you are a very smart woman! 
There was something else I was going to say but now I don't remember ... oh well.

I got up early and packed and now I'm waiting for my sister to pick me up. Do I really want to be in a car for 10 hours with my parents and my sister?? TOO BAD!! Everyone have a great weekend.

Started off with several varieties of cheese and crackers followed by........... 
Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn pudding, pumpkin bread, gravy, rolls, Kentucky Bourbon Pie, Ice Cream, Apple Crisp.

turkey, sweet potato and chipotle pepper mashed all up together (yum), pumpkin creme brulee (oh yeah), home made from scratch green bean casserole, stuffing, normal mashed taters and pecan pie. and wine

Surprisingly, I didn't overeat yesterday. We had pumpkin dip and grahams to start, greenbeans & onions with fresh herbs, mashed potatoes, candied yams, a simple salad of blue cheese/walnuts/cranberries, rolls, stuffing, turkey and pumpkin and apple crumb pies. That apple crumb pie was DA BOMB

Don't think that I don't know that you are trying to slowly torture me with all those yummy dishes you scoffed down for TG. I'm up to your tricks! You can't make me crave turkey and stuffing and gravy.....ah! Fug! you Bastages!!!!!!!!!!! 
Just for that I'm going to shop online too and cram up your internet lines! HA!
