Hey, folks! Happy Friday to you all!<br><br>
I have returned from Las Vegas. To answer everyone's first question: No, I did not win a lot of money. I think I lost about $80 gambling. Not good, of course, but not too bad. And it kept me entertained for a while, so that's the price of entertainment. I also went to the Tournament of Kings dinner show at Excalibur -- which I believe I can submit on my expense report as my meal from last night. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> I don't think I'll try to submit my gambling losses...<br><br>
I did manage to get in one run, bright and early on Thursday morning. It may have gotten to about 110 later in the day, but it was about 80 at 6:30 in the morning, which was quite manageable. I ran a little over 4 miles up and down the Strip. <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/kml/episode.kml?episodePkValues=3379544" target="_blank">Here's</a> the not-so-thrilling map of that run...<br><br>
I haven't taken the time to check out the threads while I was gone. Anything important I need to know?<br><br>

I read as much as I could in 20 mins...basically if your post was 2 lines or less, I had to skip it after page 3. I just can't keep up when I'm busy at work!<br><br>
I ran a 1.4 this morning. It was the suck. The epicenter of suckage. But whatever. Miles is miles. Even if I had to walk once.<br><br>
I'm running tomw with Amy! I'm meeting her at her downtown...not sure how much we'll run, but 1-3. I like a beer now and then, but I prefer my drinks come out of a Grey Goose Vodka bottle over anything else anyday. <b>Mary McT</b> seems to be a jovial sort, I'm betting for the sake fo the party, she'll tolerate us non-beer-lovers. I actually am not opposed to trying other beer, but wow, that was an eye opener. If what I had tonight was the 'good stuff', I may just not be the kind to aquire the taste needed. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Is there such a thing as beer that doesn't smell/taste like beer?<br><br><b>Maccabeth, Radioyada</b> and I are going to hit up a local Taco Mac in a few weeks. They offer samples of the stuff they have on tap, so maybe I can find something there, without spending lots of $$ for beer that I otherwise wouldn't drink more than a sip of. <b>Professor McT</b> gave me a couple of suggestions from their beer list, and I"ll make use of that.<br><br>

There was an awful accident on the Pike and a trip which normally takes 55 minutes took me almost <i><b>FOUR HOURS</b></i>. I got in my car at 3, and got home at 6:50. It was horrific.<br><br>
There are crushes? I'd go back and look, but it'd probably be dismal. I don't think even my husband has a crush on me. But <b>Moe</b>, I already told you that you're one of my girl crushes so you can't feel badly.

Massive storm as we got off work today. Hail, lightening, 2 cars off the road (with cops to assist) within the 6 minute drive commute, hard rain.<br><br>
So I go into my room and my computer light is dimmed but on.......... I get no response when I click the power button multiple times. I am thinking lightening got it. But I unplug everything, plug up and then power on. Everything is fine............ PHEW <img alt="cool.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/cool.gif">
