Dan, I'm so sorry you are having to deal with all this! Hopefully when they get in there, it won't be too bad.

Good Luck Racers!!! Be speedy!

Our Turkey Trot is tomorrow. I have MJR all signed up, I might jump in and just run it ez around 7ish pace IF I'm feeling somewhat okay in the morning. That should stretch out the back/leg more than it's been and be a bit of a test for possibly starting up some easier speed work next week. I have to promise myself to stop if something starts to go wrong, though, I know that'll be tough for me...it'll be hard enough not racing it even though I'm out of shape. Competitive Jen is getting restless!

7 easy done this morning, nothing too exciting. Foot wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday, leg is still pretty numb and a bit painful. I'm getting tiny glimpses of my old, smoother stride every now and again out there...oh, how I do miss that feeling and covet having it back full time. Reminds me that I truly enjoy running, and always have, it's never a chore to me in the least, even when I'm dealing with setbacks and pain. I'm very thankful for that.

Ortho Doc called me last night and we talked for a bit, he wants me to see a spine specialist so that's my next step, I guess. I'm not thrilled with any of this, but we have to deal with what life gives us and in the whole scheme of things I'm still better off than a whole lot of folks out there.
