TRX workout at the Y this morning. It was a great class. Last week I wrote about the letter to the editors in the local paper talking about runners. Well in yesterday's edition there was a response from our own LRR. it was well written and a joy to read..

Rest day for me. Didn't get my trainer workout done last night after working late, but I'm pretty certain my legs need the rest today more than they need that workout. Will pick it up tomorrow morning.

Did get in some workouts while away and earlier this week.

Today though heading to BSC for a 1900 swim. Following the swim plan from Coach Deanna and loving it. Definitely noticing a difference on the improvement side of things.

Another short treadmill run tonite about 15 min. I have been pretty consistent with short runs over the last 2 weeks and my foot is tolerating it fairly well. I am slowly increasing the time. Plan on starting the bike and swimming at the end of the month.

Kinda quiet here... I haven't seen many regulars.

To my relief, left hammy wasn't in pain from the yesterday's muscle pull. So I ran easy 6miles as scheduled on a beautiful sunny day here. Boy legs were heavy/sore from the yesterday's strength workout (I am sure the soreness is not from the 10miler on TM). Wow, like I haven't used the leg muscles before. I can still feel some tightness in left hammy. Will see how it goes tomorrow's relatively short long run of 15. I was thinking to go for a swim, but missed an opportunity. Oh well. I'd rather hang out with the family on Friday night.

Ran. Probably about 6.4 miles (edit: just mapped it and I actually did 7.1...guess I don't do math well in my head when I run? LOL!). Dry/wet pavement to light slop to packed snow. But, it was sunny and in the low 30s so it was nice to be out.

This evening, I finished removing the packed snow/ice that had amassed at the end of our driveway during our absence. I'm a bit obsessive about it, but I like to have a *very* clear driveway and as clear an approach to our driveway as possible in the winter time otherwise that junk sits there until like everything melts. Then, I used the dirty chunks of snow to add some curb appeal to the snow banks in front of our house!
