I just put a pot roast in the crock pot for my family.

Heading up to Grandma's in just a bit. Not sure what I'll fix for our dinner. Most likely something Italian. For years, all she fixed was bland "meat & potatoes" dinners. I thought that's what she liked. Nope! She likes Italian! It was Grandpa who liked bland. Since he died in December, she's been making up for lost time.

Probably a giant pretzel and a Redhook at the hockey game tonight. Not the healthiest carbo loading choices for sure, but since I'm most likely not doing my half mary on Sunday, I'll drown my sorrows with a pretzel and beer.

I want my fridge back! I will make something that is frozen, sitting on top of the deep freeze, and won't keep any leftovers. I have, however, not gone fast food, even with our current appliance woes. DS's however, are loving the happy meal deal they got right now....

For the tofu part...I'm just doing the traditional garlic & oil for the pasta.

Yummm, Boggs, soft pretzel and beer. I think I'll make a stop on my way home to the soft pretzel bakery.

Dinner, I don't know. I'm just so happy to almost be done with this week. Maybe Mexican at an authentic little dive nearby. I'm tired and snacking, so it's not the healthiest day I've had.

Come on down! The only bummer is that my Saturday morning group run is always at 6:30am, so I need to watch how much tasting I do Last Sunday's long bike didn't happen as I got too carried away with the 'informal' wine tasting we had at our house

Hold on! Something's wrong here. Don't tell me you Left Coasters have chicken-flavored clams out there. We only use the clam-flavored clams here in New England...the home of 'real' clam chowda.

We had spaghetti. I made a tomato-meat sauce with lean ground bison, lots of garlic and sauteed mushrooms and grated some good parmesan over the top. Used whole wheat spaghetti. It was very tasty. Oh, and a lovely shiraz to go with.
