Let me get this thread started even though it is late afternoon for me.

60 minutes in the gym this morning on the spin bike. It was actually a pretty good workout. I wanted to quit after 35 minutes into it, but I kept myself on that stupid bike. It just isn't the same as riding my bike on a training. But I will live through it.

Happy Training everyone!

Dave- Nice to see you here today.

I am going to try and get a workout in sometime in the next few minutes. Then possibly going to watch True Grit at the movie theater. Have a great morning and Christmas Eve everyone.

Messed up kind of week. Fishbowl today. I ended up being the bunny which totally sucked because no matter how hard I swam the guy got me. I did out distance him which kinda takes the sting out a bit. 3000m in 1:10. Bit of shopping left to do. Don't think I"m up for church this evening.

Hello, everyone. Happly holidays.

Dave! -- Great seeing you here. Keep baby stepping toward that new goal. Stay safe.

Dan -- Rest up.

Kevin -- Hey there. Please pardon my ever-so-slightly smug countenance over the bowl game. BSU caught a few lucky breaks, and the U had a few unlucky ones. Otherwise, I think it's a much closer game. Enjoy the workout and the flick.

Wow, Mom. That's a great distance. I did 500M yesterday, with lots of rests, and it beat me up.

Me -- Will try to bike and run today. And finish wrapping. And do stocking stuffers. And fix the lights. And, and . . .

Early 8.25 mile group run this morning on a new route for me. Lots 'o fun, we're having a mini-heat wave - high 20s and no wind!

Dave - the journey begins... good to hear from you and keep at it.

Dan - have a restful xmas eve.

kfuller - sounds like a fun plan

4boys - nice swim, I was playing a similar game on the treadmill the other day.

Chances - hope you get all of that done!

Enjoy the holidays, folks!

Ran for 1 hour in the English winter tundra around Southampton Common. Cold, windy and icy. Got in about 8 miles.

Had a great run last night with the conditions that zrun enjoyed this morning. Very cloudy, no wind, and upper 20s...was quite the sensation to be hot on a run for once! :) 49mins last night. Then this morning I woke up and headed out again, calves still insanely sore from my romp through the park and about 6in of ankle-bending snow with every stride. 65mins in light flurries, but the light winds made it hard to keep my eyes open. But, it did stay nice and warm for me again...mid-20s. Looking forward to a lovely, late-night Christmas Eve shakeout run around town to check out lights and families enjoying the holidays from the roads. In my super quiet, dinky town, it's one of my favorite things to do. So peaceful.
