BBS -- Fun, fun. We've made several neighborhood tours, too. Enjoy your easy run.

Me -- Up at BCOD. Dark and 18 degrees. Gonna find something interesting on Netflix streaming and spend some time on the trainer.

Morning gents...

BCOD for me as well this morning as the Wednesday/Friday swim session becomes almost old hat. Well, as old hat as it can be after only 3 weeks of doing it. Each session I feel myself getting better, and I guess that's what keeps me coming back. I went about 1200 today total; we did a lot of short intervals, 50s and 25s at all-out pace. Good workout.

If I don't get dragged out to the stores later today, I will probably add a run to the day's activities, an easy 4-6 miles maybe.

BBS - enjoy the four and the neighborhood tour, although combining the two sounds more fun.

Chances - enjoy the ride to nowhere. Can't blame you. 18 is way too chilly for a ride in my opinion.

NO BCOD running for me this morning. My wife is not working today, so I will run when it is light outside and a few degrees warmer than Chances temps.

Good morning everyone.

BBS/kfuller - Hope the run goes well.

Chances - Love the training.

Hawk - Nice swim workout. enjoy your shopping or running, whichever you end up doing.

Me - The goal this morning was to run 7 miles at an 8 minute pace. I had a great run and ended up running slightly faster averaging 7:51. I tryed to keep the pace as steady as possible once I got started. I clocked the first mile at 7:37 which I knew was much faster than my goal pace. I was just running by feel and once I looked at the split I knew I had to slow it down a bit. The second mile was 7:49 which was better but still not where I wanted it. The remainder of the splits were: 7:53, 7:55: 7:49: 7:52, and 7:53.

Weather:

18* is NOT too cold to ride outside! Turtleneck, heavy fleece, windbreaker, heavy tights, booties, light hat/mask, heavy gloves and you are good to go.

Planned rest day. Just too much going on. Looking forward to my long run tomorrow. Luckily our Christmas Eve service is early. I'd never make it to midnight like I did when I was a kid.

18* isn't too cold provided you have the right clothing to wear. If not, it is too cold. I think I am going to move my cycling training indoors on the training to improve the quality of my training. I can be more consistent and focus on key workouts. I don't do so well on key workouts when I am outside. I just ride and have fun.

Hi, gang.

I awoke to a light snowfall that, unfortunately, won't likely last until Christmas Day. It's in the low 40s now and pretty ideal for running.

Five miles. Good effort.

Due to work and family commitments, it is unlikely I will run tomorrow or the next day. So allow me to wish you all a Merry Christmas now.

Nothing today. I had hoped to get to the indoor track but no time. DD is napping and DW is getting her nails done (well it is her birthday) so looks like I'll be surfing Hulu and Netflix for a couple of hours. Group run tomorrow am. Not sure on distance so I may run to the meeting point (gym) to get in bonus miles. Of course, that assumes I'll be able to get out of bed.

FYI: Anything below 60F is too cold for a ride in my books.

Hey Apple!

5 miles done this afternoon in the neighborhood. 48F but windy conditions made it feel much cooler. I went super slow 9-minute pace in my FiveFingers.

Nice workouts everyone.
