Morning guys

40* and rain here... Don't sound like an enjoyable outside run, so I guess I'l opt for the TM to get my 4 miler in.

May be a challenge getting my 8 in tomorrow seeing work is hooking me up w/ a 16 hr shift tonight/tomorrow morning...

Morning BBS, probably the right call on the TM. No rain here but boy is it windy.

Fishbowl for me this morning. Another 1400 or so. Felt pretty good this

morning. I may double up this afternoon with a little 2-3 mile jog just to shake it out.

BBS--as long as there is a ready supply of PopTarts, who cares about you having to work doubles? I mean really! Think about what's IMPORTANT in life!!!

Hawk--nice job in the fishbowl.

I switched things up this week so today was a fishbowl day. New "speed" workout--WU 500, 10x50 15sec rec, 250 rec, 10x50 15sec rec, CD 250. Not quite as good of a time as last time but I'll take it.

Good morning everyone. I am taking a rest from running today. I am only doing 3 days of running this week to get my body all healed up and ready to go for the new year etc... Some stretching and core work after taking my son to school.

That's the worst rain weather BBS- I understand the treadmill decision.

What's with all these folks swimming in here lately? Enjoy the run if you decide to later Hawk.

Glad the swim went well 4BM.

Sounds like a sensible plan Kevin- although I don't fully understand the concept of sensible plans so you might have to get a second opinion on that.

For me- I have to finish up my last exam for the semester, drive home and then I'll get my 16 in. I'm fairly certain that I can't get worse than a B in my class today, so that means I made it through one semester of my PHD program without getting kicked out, so that's nice.

Planning to head out at lunch for an easy 5-6 miles. Groin/abductor feeling a lot better, i.e. doesn't hurt. My muscles were probably tighter than usual the other day, making things worse. Need to remember to do some leg swings to warm up and just run easy for a while. As such I won't be putting in the miles planned for the rest of the month.

BBS - rain, 40s plus a long shift... you are living the dream. Hope you can get those runs in.

Hawk - we had 20mph+ winds yesterday to blow away the warmer weather. Now we are back to 20s and 30s. Dry off before running.

Mailbox - good luck with exam and mileage quest.

4boysmom - nice job speed swimming

kfuller - have fun with the core workout. Do 100 crunches for me...

MTA: 7 miles at lunch. 30F, sunny and a lot less windy than yesterday.
