I awoke to a light snowfall that, unfortunately, won't likely last until Christmas Day. It's in the low 40s now and pretty ideal for running.

Five miles. Good effort.

Due to work and family commitments, it is unlikely I will run tomorrow or the next day. So allow me to wish you all a Merry Christmas now.

Merry Christmas, Baba!

We had a similar light dusting of snow overnight, which in this sunshine won't likely last the day.

Rip, the mountainbikers keep on going until the snow gets too deep around here... I was surprised not to see any of them on yesterday's run.

No run for me today, just a haircut in the next town over and some grocery shopping to have enough food in the house to tide us over to Tuesday. Going to bundle up a bit and take DH for a walk in the woods after we pick up another bottle or two of wine at the co-op to take to the neighbour's party tonight.

Merry Christmas, Bubba. Nice run too.

I wussed out a bit today and ran on the TM. Didn't feel like running in cold rain, even though it was fairly light. 10 miles, 1:23:10 (8:19 avg). Now the office party is done and I'm packing up to go home to hearth and family. Wishing everybody a Peaceful and Pleasant Holiday.

Good runs Baba and Mike. I watched the story of winemaking for an hour (history channel) while I was working out on the eliptical. Medium effort but seemed a little more humid. Wrung my socks out after the workout. The plan for tomorrow is a 2 mile warmup followed by alternating miles of 12% incline at 11:00 and zero incline at 7:30 pace. Hope to do 6 each and then a mile cooldown for 15 total. Should take around 2:15 if I can keep the pace.

Heme - hmmm, Heme, wine, and dw in the woods. Sounds like a pleasant way to spend an evening.

Irun - that's a quality run

Rip - You've been doing some killer workouts lately. Can't wait to see your next race results.

Hiay HappyFeat, Johnny, Liam, and whoever else might sneek in (lurkers too)

Cut my 10 miler to 6.25 this morning. I ran that last half marathon in too light of shoe and my hips have been hurting a bit. Last couple days lower back as well. This morning the nerve where the hamstring and glute connect was really painful. since I'm cutting back this week and next; I just brought it home. Same thing happened last year when I ran in those shoes and it will pass when it is ready. Going to try and run tomorrow very ez and with no hills. The uphills seem to be the worst as it seems that side hamstring is tight and limits extension.

Not sure tonights plans. Tomorrow is Christmas eve service at church, Sunday morning church, then the big family late lunch. We oredered a prepared ham this year to save some time; Hope I don't forget to pick it up tomorrow or I'll need some of Heme's wine and woods.

Hi all, and a Merry Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate politically correct greeting to all.

A little over 4 miles this afternoon. No snow, but way too cold here, lately I've been waiting till after noon to run, today it was a balmy 32°F at the warmest part of the day. Got the wood stove going 24-7 the past month, probably gone through a cord in Dec alone. Tomorrow is LR day, shooting for 8, followed by housecleaning xtraining.

Nice running for you baba, Mike, & KS...and another killer workout for Rip. (after the MLB channel, the history channel is my favorite too)

You running in shoes over a year old KS???, I'm pretty sure they have a shelf life, used or not.

Enjoy the party Heme, hopefully after 2 bottles of wine there won't be any red bathing suit activity

Hi Johnny!

Only one bottle went to the neighbours, and I drank only part that........honest. Way too cold for bathing suits at -10°C! Besides, their pool closed in September.

Met a woman from a few miles down the road that also runs trails with some of the same folks that I know.

Think maybe I've found a new running friend!

G'nite everyone!
