Good morning!

14.2 miles in 2:07:47 (9:00). Did the first 8.2, made a quick pit stop at home (never pass up an opportunity to pee!), then did the last 6. Getting used to looping by the house, which is good mental training for the double-loop marathon I'll be doing.

Weird, I won't be running again for 3 days ... I don't think I've taken that much time off since March!! (I looked, it was actually January the last time I took 3 days in a row off. No wonder I'm feeling strange about it!)

I haven't run yet today, but I wanted to post to talk smack at antagonist here. We will be running the HB Distance Derby tomorrow; 10 mile race.

Antagonist, I just want to put you on notice baby, I plan to spank you hard tomorrow morning. But I will wait for you at the finish line to cheer you in. (I'm great like that)

Like you guys I have a 10 Mile Race tomorrow - The Frank Duffy 10 in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, so I'll compare times afterwards ... See who's smacking...

Went to the gym for a loosener tonight, just to turn the legs over, and ran 1 3K treadmill run in 13:55, just under 7:30 pace. Aiming for sub 78 tomorrow - we shall see.

Nice Run jen and others too.

I got in about 4.8 in 53:44 at lunchtime today. This was a continuous run I have been coming back to running and started with the run 9 min walk 1 minute thing. This is part of the plan to get away from that. Felt good.

Good races to you all.

Ran the home course with the team at 2:00 running segments. Very easy and resting up for tomorrow's 13-14 mile trail run...not really a trail but on nice soft gravel roads in a nature reserve. Supposed to be like 60 degrees....should be most excellent.

Alex - Enjoy tomorrow's run

2:00pm today I met my friends Norb and Phil at HighCliff State Park - We ran 12.5 miles on 50% hilly technical trails, 25% hilly other stuff and 25% easy other stuff. 1:54 for 12.5 miles - On my nice flat roads I could run 15-16 miles in that time. But it was a very enjoyable / hilly /painful run - followed by a nice cherry wheat beer

Good running to all
