Good morning all!! Was out of the office most of the week, busy week plus couldn't post on BB so finally getting in.

Snowing here in pa... Isn't it time to put the cold gear away??!

Yesterday put 5m on with the pup on the trails and she enjoyed every minute of it. Training is going well and looking forward to a great team in training race. Next week I am running the Tough Mudder race which should be interesting. Friends talked me into that one and I am still not sure if it was a smart move. If anything, it will be fun.

Today I am heading to philllies game for opening day. Best part is friend gave us clubhouse txts so let the snow come!

happy running all and enjoy your tgif

I'm feeling tired and drained so looks like an unscheduled rest day.

BBS - you need to tell your boss that your hours are interfering with your running schedule

Apple - enjoy the game. I can't get into baseball these days. The season is too long.

FB - nice to see you back. At least you are getting out there. I wouldn't worry about the pace.

Fishbowl for me this morning. 2500m with pool toys. Can't say much more than I got 'er done. Nothing is feeling good today. Met with my pastor for counseling yesterday. Pretty intense and I'm still drained today.

Boiler--don't be a stranger! Although, I have been popping into the morning thread to get my daily dose of Calvin&Hobbs

Apple--photo of the pup, please?

BBS--enjoy the rest day. Hopefully with longer days you can start sneaking in more runs.

Howdy folks,

I have Phillies Gamecast running on my computer but I didn't pay for the audio so I can't hear Apple.

5 easy miles at lunch today, last run before Cherry Blossom. I had planned on doing strides near the end of the run but bagged them because it was just crazy stupid windy and I didn't feel like sprinting into a wind-wall. I did strides earlier in the week and a little bit of tempo last night so I'm pretty sure all the hay's in the barn anyway for Sunday.

Rest day planned for tomorrow but I get the feeling it won't be nearly relaxing as I'd like. We have to get downtown to the expo but DW also realized this week that she let her car registration lapse and now it's late, which means no Internet or mail-in renewal, yep DMV it is. And of course you have to go get your inspection before renewing. Oh, and it gets better...she thinks her tires are too worn to pass inspection so now we have to take care of that first. All tomorrow. Oh, OK. Some rest day.

Florida - good to see you back in the groove

Apple - 0-0 in the 5th as I type. Tell those guys Hawk said to score some friggin' runs and give Doc some support.

By default I have to support the Cubs, which is enough to drive anyone to drink. We may get in one game the entire season but I couldn't care less. Well, not unless they turn out to be a good team and there's a bandwagon to jump on.

It's been one of those crazy busy weeks here for me, but I have been getting my runs in: Tues (2 hrs), Wed (1 hr), Thurs (2 hrs), Fri (off). I'm planning on a 2+ hour run tomorrow on the hilly trails (gotta plan out my race course. Did I mention I'm directing my own trail race?) and 3 hrs on Sunday ... and then taper!

Despite the rain, I was able to get in a run from my parents in NJ up to the George Washington bridge into Manhattan for a bit and back for about 8 miles. Wind was from the NW and in my face the way back across the bridge, but it was worth it for the screaming downhill back to my folks.

FB - hope to see you around, nice job

apple - have fun at the game

RA - I am all about the Bulls lately, going to see them play the Celtics next week

4boys - nice swim, hope things start feeling better soon

Hawk - good luck this weekend!

jill - nice job getting in all those hours, on to Boston.
