Early to work today, so out for an early run in the dark. Caught part of the royal hoopla before I started.

Cool/upper 40s - Clear and windy. Crawford/Puckett/Security/Kiva/Fontaine/Grinnell/Crawford/Upton/home. Short slow run. Felt like I was sleepwalking. Stretching afterward.

Scott: Camp sounds like fun. Hope the tender areas calm down so that you can hammer away.

Hello everybody! Back up north so I was back on the exercise bike. An hour easy, coach still has me recovering from Boston. Followed it up with pushups, lunges, bench dips, hammie curls, planks on the ball and squats. Didn't scroll down and missed the 2nd half of the strength workout, I'll get it in between loads of laundry tonight.

Up early to take one of the little otters for a little procedure - she's doing fine. Such a trooper!! Always amazes me - she's been through a lot of surgeries and such, and always bounces so well.

Fortunately a re-working of the schedule to make this a DOR.

5:30am swim. I've got a sprint to do on Mother's Day with a 800 yard swim. Did this weeks timed swim and can't understand why I'm suddenly swimming slower. With a week before the race!!! Need to get some miles done in the racing chair at lunch. Then I'll click off a few on the handcycle after work. Maybe I can talk AMy into the biking to the ice cream shop.

DOR. Ended up doing half the commute yesterday - decided to hitch instead of go the rainy route home. Probably good to get the rest.

Back on the bike tomorrow though - for a 45 mile group ride. Will cap off the month nicely at a bit short of 350 miles. Pretty good for April in New England.

TGIF indeed! Finally got a handle on this week's work crisis. Just in time for the weekend so now I can start freaking out about my race! 5 1/4 miles over lunch today. Mostly easy with some pick-ups tossed in for good measure.

Brick. One hour on the bike and about 9 min on the run. Oooooof. The sprint next weekend should be amusing.

Jen - hope your little otter is doing well.

5miles on a nice sunny day. Planned to run easy but ended up running at brisk pace. Then 1hr on MTB after work. The singletrack was a bit muddy with 5 down trees. Probably it wasn't good idea to ride on that trail, woops. Did only one loop and spent the rest on rolling asphalt hills.

Have a good weekend, all!
