Was supposed to run 7 this morning, but kinda lost it in the middle. I was 2.5 miles from the car when I decided to end it at 5 and walk it in but then 1.5 from the car, I decided to run the last mile. So I ended up running 6, walking 1.75, and that last mile was pretty fast. Maybe I could have run more, but I was starting to need more walk breaks and my eating has been somewhat hit or miss for the last couple of days, so I decided not to push too hard. I also forgot my hat, so I was having sweat issues, though there was a slight breeze and the 73* temps were welcome.

Tomorrow I'm volunteering at The Great Sandbagger 10k, where everyone predicts their final time, the slowest starts first/fastest last and everyone tries to finish at the same time. The person closest to their predicted time wins. No watches. They need help at the start/finish since there are so many different starting times (based on predicted finish). Should be fun. Afterward, I think I'll skip a run in the middle of the day (unless it's nice out) and walk a nice 3 miler. We'll see.

Good luck this weekend, racers!
