Dave- In case I forget, Good Luck tomorrow!! I know you will own it.

6 didn't go too well yesterday... first 4 were OK, but I couldn't slow down even though my legs were deader than Elvis.

I guess I'll take a rest day today. DW is making me go to my 10 year High School reunion tonight.... whoopiee.

Long(ish) run in the morning. Calling for a low in the Mid 60s, pretty psyched about that!

Alarm went off at 5am. I didn't get up. Just flat out feeling like crap (again) hence the planned 10 miler (again) went bye-bye (again). I may do something on the TM or may not. Depends on how bored I get at work. My decision not to do the 10k race tomorrow seems very wise. Pity as the weather is quite nice.

BBS - HS reunion. Oh dear. Personally, bar 2, I don't give a rat's arse about folks from HS and even that's touch and go. There used to be an annual beer and curry night with friends from college but that ended years ago - it being in England didn't help matters.

Chances - nice double yesterday. People's Court again?

Greetings all....

I bet it's been 10 months since I showed my "face" here. Hope all are doing well. I haven't run much this year, generally 20-25 miles per month just to keep from losing it all, but I'm back to 40 this month and may go from there as the year winds down...we'll see! No real reason to slack off other than boredom and a growing dislike for cold weather back in the winter that seemed to set me on the path to laziness...

Perhaps I'll do a better job popping in here now that I've broken the ice and done it once!

Have a good Friday all....

Rob - Good luck today and tomorrow.

BBS- I'm thinking you should run from that reunion as fast as you can.

RA - Sorry you're not feeling up to snuff. Hope you recover soon.

Well, my recovery is not going to be linear. After Wed. workout I needed two days to recover. At least I recovered. Got out today for 30 @ 7x3.

Morning and happy Friday,

Not sure what's on tap for today...would like to get out on the bike this evening if I can. That may be the last thing I get to do for a couple of days if the latest forecast is to be believed regarding that little storm headed our way. Even working out indoors would be a problem if we lose power, and it doesn't take much in our heavily wooded neighborhood for that to happen. We'll just have to see...

Chances - nice swimming plus a run yesterday. Back to beast mode I see.

BBS - HS reunions...I went to my 5th year, haven't gone to one since. For that matter I haven't even set foot in the town where I attended HS in about 12 years.

Brown - now that you're back we're going to keep after you.

Dan - that's how it goes with recovery, nice job today.

Apple - all ready for the "hurricane half?"

BOYS! Keep it PG here please! I have four teenaged sons. I don't need that crap here, too.

BBS--make the best of the HS reunion. My 10yr was still HS drama crap.

Asics--good job listening to the body.

brown--good to have you back! What have you been up to?

Dan--one step at a time.

hawk--I vote for a little spin, but that's just hte way I'm wired.

Long run this morning. NOT recovered from last weekend's race, but had to shift things around. Headed to the metro park to run circles. Meh... Needed 18laps for 15mi. Stopped at 9 and 14 for water and Gu. Last lap I just needed a short lap so opted to run the loop in the opposite direction to take advantage of the hill I had just climbed. Rounding the last corner and facing another incline, the legs quit. FInished with 14.82mi, 2:10, 8:49pace. Plan is for me to head down to IMKY to meet David. I can't wait!!!

Hey, Mom!

Nothing too different going on with me. Work, family, a little golf now and then, a few trips this summer. Just got lazy with the running but never completely stopped so that I could always put on the shoes and at least go three w/o much trouble at all. In other words, one or 2 runs a week whether i really wanted to or not...

Glad to know the 4 sons are well.

Chances - Good luck with the trial.....at least they aren't stressful....lol!
