Wow, 20 milers and the rest of us are just getting the miles in.

Good luck to all of our weekend runners!

Somewhere between 10.8 and 10.9 miles. I wanted 11 but my GPS was out of juice and so I went by feel and measured it later on runningmap.com

1:35:25. So... it wasn't that slow after all. With a bit of a cold.

I felt pretty good, but the last mile was a bit of a struggle. The legs are still not back to 100% after the layoff.
Run Segments
I did my "long" run this afternoon -- 10 miles. My legs felt fantastic!

Now to sit around and wait for the next 8 days, with the occasional short run to appease me.

Okay, I mentioned the other day that I did a VO2max/LT test (on Wednesday). I got my results today, and my VO2 max is 57.1 ml/kg/min - and compared to people of the same sex and age, my aerobic capacity is ELITE. huh, what?! That blew me away!

Now if I could just get my legs to catch up....

aphigirl01, we can tell you're elite from your hard workouts and their results. Great job on your fitness level! The treadmills at my gym do a sub-max VO2 test and my results were close to 70. OBVIOUSLY that's not so accurate. I'm fit, but not exactly Lance.

I ran 2 miles on the TM plus walked another half. And very little knee discomfort.

any chance the skiing stretched my ITB out, or do you think it was just the cortisone shot?
