3.2 miles this morning at easy pace. Then I did some pathetic "water stop simulation" drills using Dixie cups on the back of my car. It was comical, but at least I practiced a bit. I will be sporting a sexy Gatorade goatee on Sunday for sure.

I want pics!

I'm going to do 5 this afternoon. I'm pre-reporting so I don't bail on myself. I have to go alone. I've had to run alone all week. I miss my running buddy. He's off skiing for a week. Bastid.

SGH - You survived Pfitz... you'll do fine!

I'm not sure I'm going to survive Pfitz though.

12 miles with a planned 7 miles at HM pace or better. I managed a little less than 7 at that pace, but broke it up into chunks, 5k for the first, then a mile, then .5 mile chunks. Really tired.

12 miles, 1:40 or so.

Got a bit of a drinking problem SGH!

I remember the 2004 Bay State, I went to the race with a blue and white tank top. It came home looking like I had Ty-Dyed it. I got enough Gatorade in me to get through the race, but I think I got more ON me.

Anyhoo, good luck to all of the racers this weekend.

As for my report today, no run. Scheduled day off. Just as well...it's snowing here.

I will do my exercise routine later on tonight.

Something about your TM technique must have been off or they would have played better.

You need to work on that!

5 miles in 53:32, but that includes stopping for a German Shepard off leash who was somewhat aggressive and came growling right up to me. I'm not running from that. So, it would have been less time, but I wasn't running for time, anyway.

My knee is not cooperating, had to take an Advil last night in hopes of helping with the healing process (reduce the inflammation). It hurts this morning, but I hope the rolling will help.
