Hello fellow heavyweights. Recovering from a marathon last Sunday, just started easy runs again yesterday and am trying to ease in slowly.

Got to playing around with my time (not great, but a PR and therefore pretty good for me...) and found a calculator that gives age and weight gradings on running2win. Anyone else seen this? Between my weight (214) and age (37) my 3:50:13 last Sunday equates to a 3:07 according to this thing. Wouldn't that be fun...like flying.

weight and age calculator

I'm pretty sure the guy that got second (not quite a minute behind me) in the clydesdale division at Lost Dutchman last weekend was older by a few years and heavier by 10 pounds, maybe more. That would put his 3:51 at 2:5x...beating me good...which he probably deserves. It is fun though, isn't it. Where have you seen a weight-only calculator? I'd like to check it out.

It was a while back.... I'll see if I can find a link to it on one of my old computers.
