Well, it's crazy beautiful here in PA and it doesn't look like I'll have any time to sneak in a run today. I'll just switch it for tomorrow's rest day. Oh, and how disgusting is this ... I found a stink bug floating in my coffee. So gross!

Jill--don't worry, coffee sterilizes everything.

BBS--enjoy the 3.

rest day here. Not really planned, but I'm tired, leg is still iffy, and I have my long run tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the warm weather today since today is the last of it.

I am back from my 5 miler. 5 miles in 44:44(8:57). It was a nice easy run this morning.

Nice job on all of the resting, running and other stuff this morning.

6 lack luster miles on the TM. Could have gone longer but was running late and was bored. Maybe I'll be able to run outside more consistently now that most of the snow has melted but I doubt my regular forest preserve path is clear. There are patches that seem impervious to snow melt. Anyway, that would mean longer runs and make it easier to get my mileage up. I'd rather do a 10 miler than two 5'ers.

4boysmom & BBS - enjoy the weather

Jill - Nice. Do you grind beans? Well, you thought they were beans. Sneaker that run.

Morning all,

Enjoying the great weather here too. It looks to be coming to an end very soon though.

I'm planning on hitting the trails after work. We'll see what the conditions are like but I'm optimistic that they will be OK based on the fact most of the snow is gone and we've had a couple of warm, dry and windy days.

5 or so miles for today. Running long (15) tomorrow.

Have great runs in this temporary thaw, all.

Happy warm & sunny Friday to all. Today the temps hit 71 in PA!! Wow, but like Hawk said it will be short lived.

Run yesterday was a simple 3m on a the TM & today is a no run day but will do a core workout with friend at gym. I will be running with team tomorrow early so looking forward to my long run with other peeps. Once again the pup will have to be left behind. I have a feeling she is going to chew a good pair of shoes or something else up if I keep leaving her home.

Jill - not the stink bugs again !

Well, the good news is today was day 91 of my streak.

The not so good news is I've lost my mojo, and have only done 1 or 2 mile runs since Tuesday. I think I am fighting a cold, plus recovering from last saturday's half. Today was one mile of running and one walking.

I am keeping up the p90x, though, so it'a all good.

Well, I never made it to the trails. Unfortunately while the weather said spring, the sunrise and sunset are still on winter hours and 6pm is too dark. So home to the treadmill I went. At least I could open the back door to let some fresh air in.

5 miles super-easy, mostly at 6.0 (10:00/mile pace). With a mile to go I threw in some tempo 200 strides. It felt nice to go really easy and I should be ready for a good long run tomorrow.

Jebba - sounds like you're just going through the normal recovery cycle. Respect it. You'll be back strong in a few days.
