Woot! The week is over....hoping for 8 powdery-snow miles after school.

Roots - I joined up at CR of June last year, right after I started actually training. Grizz was sort of my mentor until he got sick of the shenanigans at CH I guess and headed over here. Then Flounder took over that role. Sadly I haven't really kept in touch with the people that have left over the year, but we usually have quite the chatter going on in the everyday thing still.

13 miles ending with 4x (6minutes LAT / 4 minutes easy)

Only the 3rd week back from 12 week injury layoff and I actually had a workout that felt good and I feel good after it

Thanks for refreshing my memory, Alex. I think I was just phasing out of the daily thread there at the time you starting coming around. I used to post there as "ltrun" and up through the '06 Boston and Laurel. After that I changed my screen name and migrated more to the ultra forum.

To reiterate, I've enjoying know you all over the years. I did trade an email with Tylerkdd last month. He ran 3:01 at the Richmond marathon - a huge breakthrough.

hi all - what a rip off - they tell us we're going to have this giant storm so I get all my foul weather gear out

it's raining just a little as I get ready this morning (sun isn't up yet). I hit the road and within 10 minutes, the clouds part and the sky is blue (in some places)...

5.25 overdressed recovery miles in just under 51 minutes - legs are feeling great!

in other exciting news, it looks I'm right on track for my random quest to break 2,000 miles this year - I'm at 1,918 right now

3 miles on the treadmill. Started at an 8:49 pace for the first mile, 8:41 for the second, and went from 8:27 to 8:00 in the last mile.

Upper body weights & crunches after.
