3.3 miles this morning in beautiful 29 degree weather. I did my hill (see below). Had to cut the run short because I stupidly rolled my ankle. Did see a great sunrise from the top of the hill, though. Ice in my future today. Have a great day all!

14 easy miles - no watch (Notice I did not say really slow)

Arrojo-Sorry about the ankle - I had to do a double take on "Ice in your Future" - I was trying to figure out where you lived that you were going to have a snow or ice storm. I have winter weather running on my mind.

Good running to all -

roots, I too had an unplanned rest day yesterday. With a 10K race tomorrow, I just ran 4 miles of "precovery" this morning. I'm about 10 lbs. heavier than my ideal racing weight, but I may try to go for a PR tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

8.5 miles this morning. It was in the 40s with a breeze, and was the first day I've worn long sleeves and capris. I felt strong but tired again. I guess the peak training is showing itself a little.

One of my toes spontaneously began bleeding -- I think it is a toenail issue -- and my pretty brand-new shoes now have a blood stain. Oh well, they weren't going to look new long, anyway.

Now I'm resting before Sunday's half marathon (which is not a race, but an MP workout).

Home with a sick baby today. Managed 1.25 miles and 35 minutes core. I have a scratchy throat. I hate how small kids in daycare = constantly sick.

AAK Arrojo, be careful. I say that, but I rolled my ankle Sunday morning coming down my stairs (I kind of slipped, bobbled, and ouch!).

Since I had a great ART appt. today and the magic doctor made my ankle feel loads better, I decided not to run on it.

30 min on the elliptical (supposedly 415 calories - 3.8 miles?), followed by use of the adductor & abductor nautilus equipment, then free weights for upper body, then crunches.
