No thread yet for today? Let's kick it off, shall we?

I've got one final "long" run on tap tomorrow, planning 15 with the middle 7 or so at MP and the rest super easy. As for today, it's an open day. I wouldn't mind doing some trails but the weather looks likely to hose that up. I may just do barefooting in the VFFs for a few miles.

Happy running all...and happy Friday too.

Hope the long run goes well this weekend Hawk.

Figure I should take a rest day today. The legs were feeling pretty fatigued last night on the ride home, so they probably need a bit of a break. That and I have class, meetings and driving all day anyway.

Running in circles for me this morning. 4x800. 4:10, 4:09, 4:07, 4:07. Meh... Not bad for no speed workouts all season. I emailed my doctor yesterday. He said that I probably just bruised my arm and to give it at least a week. I still don't know exactly how I landed, other than I had mud on my right hip and both hands. My whole upper arm hurts but there's one spot just above my elbow that really hurts. Who knows.

hawk--go run some trails for me!

MBH--enjoy the rest.

BBS -- Nice fiver.

Me -- 15 miles on the bike trainer and 7 progression on the Y 'mill yes. Been doing a bit of weight training as well, and it feels good to be getting stronger. 6 recovery miles and some swimmin' today.

Wrapped up at work early enough to hit the trails. 8.2 miles in chillier than you would think 55 degree weather, thanks to a strong wind. I was very glad to have gone with long sleeves, let's just leave it at that. Nice run, though, finished up just as darkness was falling.
