Rest day for me, and boy do I feel like I need it. For whatever reason after yesterday's 5, my legs got all kinds of achy and my left knee is a bit stiff too. I'm not injured or doing anything different. Maybe my body is going through running withdrawl with the taper.

Wow, you're already below my personal comfort threshold of >5-10F air temperature! Way to get out there.

Rest day for me too. I returned to running last Friday and have no lingering calf pain - yea!

I have designs on starting my winter base-build tomorrow on December 1st. Looking to run as many times possible in the new two months!

Wuss Runner here - Cold and damp - That is Irish Cold (around 40 at 7pm), and light drizzle, and I opt for the gym and the treadmill. Ran 5K in 24:54 (8mins pace) and happy with that. Jingle Bells 5K Race on Sunday, and the weather forecast is for 40 mph winds!, and squally showers - Could be fun

Nice runs everyone.
Thought I would jump in and start posting. Just did the online entry for St. Louis M on 4/6/08 so it's time to get serious. 10.35 miles this morning at LR pace. 1:38:53 and 9:33/mile avg. pace. I will train for a 3:50 M. I have some weight to lose and will be working to better Septembers 4:01:53 time. Long range goal is a 50-mile trail run in May. Looking forward to it all.
