I guess I'll start today's thread.

DW is taking the kids today so I get to go for a run at a normal hour.

Heading out now into the new bitter cold air that arrived last night - it's 33.

Going for an easy 7.

morning, Larry and everyone else!

I'll be heading out in a bit for my workout. Planning on a sleazy short one, depending on how my left hamstring feels....

It is 30 degrees here. Man. I just do not want to go out. I might wait and go when its a wee bit warmer. Been really tired lately, haven't wanted to run for a few days. Got a lot on my mind so I know it will be good for me. Besides. Next saturday I'm actually running a race with this good looking girl who's way freaking faster than me....
so I'd better get my behind in gear.

Since its looking like I'll be done writing by the year's close, I'm hoping to get a little more serious about my running again. I miss Saturday long runs and sleepy after noons warming up from them.

I'm hoping to get 4M +/_ in at some point today.
I had a good turkey trot (8K PR - posted last night) followed by an excellent turkey meal at the 'rents house. Small crowd this year....only 16 of us.
Hopefully we all have the day off from work, yes?

morning everyone. Yesterday morning, DH and I did the Turkey Day 5K. My plan was to run it about 80%. DH had other plans. It was slippery so he stated he was going to run with me. great! Then he decided that I should get a PR. Ummm...no? I have to run tonight buddy. We'll we tried anyways and I was on track until the 3rd mile when it got a little hillier and icier and dang it, I just got super hot. Finished in 25:00...20 seconds slower than my PR. Oh well. I did not get beat by anyone in a costume!!!!!

Ran 8 at about 6 pm with the dog. Furthest she has gone all season. 8 today with strides and then supposedly 23 this weekend. We'll see about that.

Good morning, folks. It's cold here too. I want to get a run in today, but Maggie went out to do some errands, leaving me here to babysit. Unfortunately, Jillian is still a little small to take out in the stroller.

Nice races, 2oh and Brandy!

Is anybody working today? I hope not...

Great races Brandy and 2oh!!!! I'm bummed that cooking prevented me from running a Turkey Trot

Oh well ...all turned out well even though that dang pop-up thingie in the bird didn't pop up. I'm at work half-day today and then plan to get out for some chilly miles.

Scratch - watch out for that rabbit in your avatar; they are mean with the plungers!

When it's your child - it's not "babysitting".

Morning.

I got 30 minutes on the BigT last night.
I'll probably be doing that again today, depending on whether or not the sidewalks get cleared.
It's 19* F right now. and
It snowed 6 inches just yesterday. That doesn't include what fell the night before. I think we have about 12 inches on the ground.

Ps. boB listen to LLgoodadviceberg. He knows of which he speaks. Unless you are doing someone a favor or getting paid to do it, it ain't babysitting.
