Ran 14 on TM this am

1st 8 easy - Them 7 minutes hard / 3 minutes easy for 6 miles

I would like to think hard = LAT, but it was likely a tad faster maybe CV = Critical Velocity (Over LAT under Vo2 - but close enough to each to get the benefits of each)

Have a great Christmas

I wish - Clydesdale didn't make me think about Budwiser - Not really a bud fan.

Did 11 on the trails last night. Today is an off day. Tomorrow is a 32 mile trail run, if the weather and my legs hold out (more snow in the forecast and the month off while sick has destroyed my fitness).

Tomorrow's planned run:
http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-s...lder/633997235

We may run it in reverse though, so the snow up high is harder in the morning and easier to run on (plus it's 9000' of gain going 'up' vs only 5800' of gain coming 'down').

Have a good weekend everyone!
cgerber - Good luck on that!

I am only about 50% of normal fitness right now - week 5 of comeback after 12 weeks off - I think I could finish something like that - But It would not be pretty and I may be shot for a couple of days.

Enjoy the trails

Chris,

Very Jealous... we do not have 32 miles of runable trails even available right now... all covered in deep snow. (not that I could run 32 miles)

Have you seen screw shoes? This are brilliant for icy trails, but they don't do much in deep snow:

http://www.skyrunner.com/screwshoe.htm

hi!

I"m a big girl and I'll be getting even bigger in the next few months.

I ran my first 5k as an Athena. Whoo hoo for me! I was happy to see the category and did much better place wise in their than in my age group (I"m 27).

I'm working on getting smaller but seriously it's going to be a long time before I"m small enough to not be.

So any how, to be big you have to dream big right?
